The Diwa Club by Alila

Моя очень напряженная командировка в мае 2023г. планировалась заранее, и я выбрала Дива Клаб Алила системы Хайятт. Лежать на пляже я не собиралась, но быстрота, качество обслуживания и комфорт в номере были важны для меня в ту неделю мая 2023. Я не буду писать о положительных моментах в этом отзыве. Но мои вещи после моей выписки из номера у меня украли. Подчеркну особо: воровство, лицемерие и единство персонала, руководства и даже не поверите – полиции! И украли у меня не такие дорогие по нашим меркам вещи – три парео, совсем новый купальник и один – уже ношенный купальник. Ну пусть им цена 250 долларов, но там были подарки и вещи, путешествовавшие со мной по всему земному шару, и хранившие мою дорогую память. Я бы их никогда и не забыла бы, если бы ими пользовалась, но на той неделе мне так и не удалось искупаться.. Я абсолютно уверена, что они оставались там в ящике комода после моего check-out. Я объяснила отелю, где находились мои любимые вещи.. Персонал сначала подтвердил, что в моем номере в течение следующих суток никто не жил. Вывод один и совершенно точный – украли уборщики или персонал. А менеджер отеля г-н Арун – их покровитель. Моё чувство от этого отеля – грязь воровства и непорядочность персонала и руководства. И это для меня вдвойне обидно. Они не выглядели ворами, улыбались, но «воткнули нож в спину» при первой имеющейся возможности. А я могла бы вернуть свои вещи даже после отъезда, так как я живу в Индии. Удивила и местная полиция, которая оказалась заодно с ними. Если для вас это важно во время пребывания – не обольщайтесь! : никакой защиты, если вдруг что случится - вы не получите – еще один мой вывод. Не дай Бог вам столкнуться с более серьезными проблемами в этом отеле! Хотите жить в Хайятте - ДИВА КЛАБ – «вольному- воля». И прошу Отель не писать мне формальный отзыв с извинениями, это просто непростительно – вы уже все продемонстрировали своими действиями и воровством!

В целом прекрасный отель. Персонал очень отзывчивый и приветливый. Номера просторные и симпатичные. Мебель чуть уставшая, но в целом все работало. Еда средняя отельная. Пляж вполне. Единственное, что не понравилось - пол был не очень чистый.

Beautiful property over the paddy fields. Really close to the beach as well. The room and bathroom were really nice and more importantly the staff was super hospitable and friendly. I highly recommend the Diwa club. For a little extra, its private and keeps you away from the rest of the hotel which can get crowded. But as a Club guest, you can still access the entire property but not the other way around.

Your entire staff were amazing , we have tried to name the exceptional members but everyone we met in the Diwa club were excellent. Sourav & Meena made our holiday The building is amazing India is incredible but it is your staff members we will remember this holiday for : Sourav - Bistro manager - absolutely amazing service , exceptional customer service , exceptional manner , Sourav in particular made our holiday , he works so hard to please each and every customer , talking to everyone about their individual likes and dislikes and then reflecting that feedback in personalised orders and making every meal or a drink a special occasion. He is an example to his staff and that is reflected in their manner and they all should aspire to be like him - thank you Sourav Of note, my wife was slightly ill on Thursday night and Sourav organised a ginger tea remedy to help , he has no idea what this meant to her and how it helped - over and above normal service , Sourav thank you His Bistro staff are all amazing but Soumen & Rita stood out but we would like to thank Noah , Raju & Sain - they all made every request or meal or drink special Meena - Spice studio - lovely Meena, from day 1 in the Diwa club Meena looked after us , advising on cuisine , drinks , accompaniments and what to do, she was amazing and lit up the restaurant. She made every meal , every course and every glass of wine special Meena to us, is everything India is - friendly warm funny and so polite Meena is a credit to the hotel and we miss her

Don’t know if it’s a new thing with Hyatt brand because they feel very unwelcoming. Service was slow. Staff could be seen on video calls during work. Check in staff were good. Room service staff were good. Breakfast spread was ok. Nothing special. It was a game of hide and seek whilst looking for plates. Tables were cleared too slowly. Masala tea during breakfast was equal to lukewarm milk. High tea was good. A very friendly guy making the chaats. There are 4 places where you can have dinner. None of them were to my liking. I didn’t enjoy any meal at this hotel. The bathrooms are a bit smelly. Partly due to their design. Despite the bathroom area being huge, the shower area and WC area are cramped and claustrophobic.

#1 in India? Top #50 world cuisine? I’m not sure I should even be sharing my experience here. I eat and stayed in 2 rival world class Indian restaurants and resorts last year and Alila Diwa Club beat both hands down without even trying. That last aspect makes this such a special standout place to stay. The restaurant and hotel staff make the best of food and service available effortlessly. With a smile and warmth. Not intrusive. Not affected. With the best of genuine modern Indian Goan hospitality. Long may it last. I hope Hyatt appreciates the jewel that makes this such a special place in their portfolio. Their recruitment thus far has been spot on. Whilst there are modern aspects to both sides of the food and hospitality at this resort it’s is well hidden - like the gargantuan effort to make sure every food on offer is world class - also is well hidden. A week here has added inches to my waist but years onto my life. And I still haven’t tried everything on the menu yet. Relaxing unpretentious charm.The staff simply couldn’t do enough. From management to front line staff each member took the time and extra effort to make this a special stay. Only problem is whether to share this secret with others… too late I guess. Worth the extra £££ for all inclusive. Only question left for me to answer is when I’ll be back. Obligatory thanks must go to Shailesh and Aditi plus all the Club staff for making our stay as sweet as Jaggery.
