Would recommend it was a nice stay

Lovely staff, clean and very comfortable beds and pillows. Provided a much needed good nights sleep and showers after 12 hours travelling and before the next days 8 hours onward travel. Beefeater restaurant next door was excellent value and we had a meal deal voucher. The waiter Ben and the restaurant manager were excellent as well.

Stayed here for a weekend while attending a festival at Mote Park. Staff on reception and in Beefeater were very friendly as usual. Rooms are typical Premier Inn standard but with the bonus of an opening window. Cleanliness standards very good. Extra tea and milk available at reception. Did think £2.50 for a bottle of water in the vending machine was expensive.

Really disappointing stay. Stayed with my partner as we were having a little weekend getaway. Check in was great, Edit was the perfect person to greet us, and was very nice. The issue we had was with the thermostat and bathroom (the tao was leaking, but that wasnt the main issue). We had the heating on during the evening, but when it was time for bed, I tried turning it down, but the room just seemed to get hotter and hotter. As it was quite late (1.30am), I didn't want reception in our room trying to fix it. I looked at the thermostat guide on the table, and even googled how to fix it... nothing was working. We opened the window fully and even opted to sleep on the little sofa bed thing next to the window, still far too hot. I then conceded and went to reception and was given a fan, but even with it on, it didn't make much a difference. In the morning, I returned the fan (having had no sleep at all), where the maintenance guy said "are you in room 58" is said yes, he said "there's a fully tap and thermostat in your room" I said yes. He said "yeh it's on my list of things to do, I'm going to go up and take a look at it now" What troubles me about that, is that I didn't tell reception about the tap, so it tells me these repairs were due to be dealt with before our arrival. Therefore, we were knowingly given a room that required maintenance. I'm not usually one for reviews, but I can confidently say I will not be staying at a Priemier Inn again. Not expecting 5 star treatment, but a comfortable night's sleep should be guaranteed.

Poor chap trying to sort everything out on his own..but there was no milk at all for anything...and no baked beans so when you have hungry kids that's a nightmare..

Nous sommes allés dans cet hôtel à 6. Les chambres ont été réservées par notre guide anglais. La personne à l'accueil n'a pas trouvé notre réservation dans son ordi. Elle a dit à notre guide qu'il a certainement triché en imprimant son document de confirmation de réservation !!! Nous sommes restés à la réception 3 heures avant que la situation se débloque. Il est inadmissible de traiter des clients comme ça. Je ne sais pas comment on peut garder un réceptionniste comme ce monsieur à ce poste. J'ai des photos, mais je ne vais pas les poster.

The place, especially upstairs, absolutely stinks of ****. For a supposed no smoking hotel clearly a heroic amount of smoking has been permitted for quite some time to let it permeate so thoroughly. The corridors are pretty rancid with it and it’s so strong it permeates into the rooms. Nothing against a bit of recreational **** but surely no smoking means no smoking of anything, not just ciggies. From the smell it’s been going on for a LONG time, not a one-off.

Hotel is very, very, very, tired, it is in urgent need of decorating. In our room there was a poorly finished repair on the wall by the light switch to the bathroom, it would appear that the person who completed the repair just could not be bothered to finish the job properly. The Shower curtain rail moved up and down, the fixing points to the wall were not attached and moved along the rail, the shower curtain would not stay close to the wall and migrated away leaving a big gap for water to soak the floor. The extractor fan in the bathroom was woeful, with little to no suck, after showering the bathroom was absolutely saturated with water just running down the walls. The shower pipe and head were rusty and had clearly been in situ for many many years. The bath had black gold where it met the wall, the sink was worn and the plughole rusty. On the side of the sink there was a stain where drips from the soap dispenser had marked the surround, the tap was stiff and hard to use. Continuing to use the same toilet paper that was used by schools in the 1970's suggests that this is the era that the room was stuck in. We were on the ground floor so keeping the window open was the only form of ventilation, no Air-Con or fan to provide a flow of air through the room. Walking from reception to our room took us along the corridor that had a multitude of broken and or cracked ceiling tiles, the lighting in the corridor and room was old fashioned and dim. It is impossible to hang wet towels anywhere other than the pegs by the room door, you cannot leave them in the bathroom to dry as they would still be soaking wet when you came to use them next time. USB Charging for mobile phones has been around for many a year, yet there is nowhere in the room to charge a phone via a USB cable, not very good in 2026. The radiator was scorched in many places and looked very rusty. TV and media adverts show Premier Inn with modern lighting and uptown date technology, this hotel in Allington, Maidstone has none of these features, in fact it is almost like looking at two different companies operating under the same brand name. Overall a disappointing experience.
