馬哈巴利普蘭羅摩克里希納飯店(OYO 9443 Hotel Ramakrishna)

This is probably the best accommodation we saw in the town itself. It was brightly lit and easy to find. The streets around the hotel are dirty but probablly no more dirty than anywhere in India. I cant blame the hotel for thet. The staff here are very helpful and courteous. I enjoyed my stay here and would not hesitate to reccomend it to anyone. There are a few nice restaurants next to the hotel where you can get a beer and some wine.

Best hotel in mamallapuram , close to beach, we took Lakeview rooms for 3500 rs ,we feel this hotel is decent in this surrounding area. Neat and clean bathroom. Friendly staff. I Strongly recommed and their rooms starts from 2000 rs.

Mamalla beach resort is wonderful place for family stay. Good helping staff. Beach location was amazing near to restaurant. It was a great value given these good aspects match what we have seen other hotel. Overall we had an exquisite experience and a comfortable stay in Mamalla resort.

Excellent service by Mr.Balaji. He was very professional from the beginning(initial contact which was almost a month before to the date I stayed) until i vacate the room. Actually we book three rooms for three young family.

Unprofessional Attitude and Carelessness First of all, this is not a Hotel. It just qualifies for a lodge.I booked through makemytrip and I paid the charges in advance as I was travelling with family including my 7 month old. Before booking the hotel, I called them up about the facilities and basic amenities, and they agreed as mentioned in the website. We checked in on 21st Aug, at around 4pm as I drove from Bangalore. After entering the hotel we found the below issues, The rooms are very basic, and some parts of the furniture are broken which can be overlooked. No problem. The bathroom has no hooks to hang your clothes to towel The hotel has a roof top restaurant which serves only Pizza and Pasta The Room service menu contained a list contains Indian food, but its a lie as they did not provide Unfortunately , it started raining heavily from 7.30pm and the hotel front side was flooded. I called up room Service to order food but no answer I went down to reception to order some Indian food as we wanted to have simple veg rice, sambar etc. but the room service denied help and told me to arrange on my own. When I asked for help as I am not sure about restaurants nearby, and it was raining heavily, he immediately switched to Tamil and pretended not to understand anything I searched andwent down to a restaurant and brought food for my wife and myself, after walking through heavy rain and flood, on my own. The restaurant was around 400m away and the owner packed the food nicely. If the RAMAKRISHNA room service could have helped me a little, but NO. Also, the hotel was mostly empty, because I think others have experienced the similar fate, and thus the room service were idle, and they could have helped. I am really sad about the inhu*** nature of the people in the hotel ’THE RAMAKRISHNA’ THE RAMAKRISHNA’ does not qualify to be a hotel. It is just a lodge I am sorry to have booked that hotel through make my trip. You get the same rooms for 1000 if you book in the hotel, and also there are adjacent hotel for Rs. 499, Rs. 899 etc This Lodge is NOT family friendly We checked out next morning at 9am and checked in to another HOTEL as the E Raja Street. We lost money in Ramakrishna, but that’s not the point. We got angry and frustrated during Vacation, and a bad memory associated with the place forever I will come back to this beautiful place again, but never book at the ‘RAMAKRISHNA’ again

We stayed 1 night. The person at the check-in was super helfpful. He showed us another room when we asked to get something away from the street. We ended up in the room overlooking the street and did not have trouble with noise at all. Clean well decorated room, clean bathroom. The person at the check in helped us a lot of information about ways to explore mahabalipuram, how to get to chennai next day, where to eat etc. Also showed us a shortcut to go to the music festival on the beach. We were also able to keep our luggage next day after checking-out. location is very close to the beach connected to the fisher*** colony. The shore temple beach is also not very far. ***y eateries walking distance.

TV did not work. But overall good value for money.
