We booked the most expensive room through *********** and the tried to give us the worse room in the place. Besides the whole beach is garbage ans smells awfull . It looked all very dirty and the guy who is running the place could not care less. Don't go there...

We've always wanted to visit this place ever since it opened. We had this place in our to visit places when we planned our trip to India. So last month when we were in Chennai we visited this place for brunch. The vibe in the place is amazing. It has multiple levels and we sat on the 2nd floor where there are a few tables and its overlooking the beach. We could see a few kids playing in the water. There are a few rooms in the property as well which are good and maintained well. The staff in here are very friendly as well, giving it a very friendly atmosphere. The food in this place is really good. It's made in authentic flavours and definitely wakes up all your taste buds. If you cant handle spicy food, then you'll have to watch out and let the waiter know about it before you order. We ordered the sandwiches, Dosa, Egg dosa and the Fish curry. They were all wonderful. Definitely going back here on our next trip to India.

It has a beautiful view with a very pleasant atmophere and also the dishes were all on point.. It's a perfect location to spend either with friends or family.. it is a place to visit at least once in your life!

flipflopshack located right at the beach facing the shore is an amazing stay for a rewind from a rough month or year. The food they serve is very basic. Rooms are available in various sizes. The service was the WORST. We had opted for an ac room only for an ancient metal container that didn't work at all. There was no rectification of the situation or compensation for the cheating. The attitude of the staff wasn't hospitable at all. There are a few more properties like this next door to flipflopshack which are better. Regret paying the entire stay in advance. Make sure to pay only during check out.
