Excellent location. A quiet place, full of positive energy, clean air. Friendly staff. Delicious and sufficient food. Spacious and clean rooms. Many tourist attractions to visit. We highly recommend. We will be back.

We highly recommend this hotel. We stayed there 2 times in August & September 2025, owners are friendly and helpful and answer any question we had during our stay. Large Breakfast and good restaurant for dinner . Hotel located in the forest so rooms are quiet without any noise.

If you want peace, full comfort, great food and friendly service right in the heart of a forest, this is the place for a delightful stay. It is also perfectly located to allow short drives to many (strongly recommended!) touristic attractions of the Buzau county.

This was our first visit to Pensiunea Cetățuia, and we stayed as a family in one of their apartments. The location is truly special — surrounded by forest, with clean, fresh air that instantly relaxes you. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. Breakfast was tasty, and we also had lunch and dinner at the property — the food was consistently good, with a nice variety of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Prices were reasonable throughout. The rooms were clean, the bed and sofa very comfortable, and there was even a playground for the kids, which was a big plus for us. Overall, the value for money is excellent. We’ll definitely be coming back and will gladly recommend this lovely place to our friends and family.

We visited Cetatuia as a group and we really enjoyed the beautiful landscape, comfortable and cozy accommodation, great food and prompt service! There are quite a few things to see around. I will definitely go back.

The surroundings of this property are amazing, the walks thru the forest are healing the soul and the body. The place is fantastic for big groups, we were 10 families, 20 peoples. We enjoy staying at this pension every time, the owners are there, and they are 100% involved in managing the place. They are doing a great job, also the personnel are the same every time, this means they are treating their employees in a good manner not only their guests. What is making me return to Cetatuia is the garden, the people there, the food, facilities. No matter the weather the place is fantastic!
