we stayed at the Amor de Dios 17 Luxury Suites, lured by its promises of luxury and comfort. Unfortunately, our experience was far from satisfactory. The hotel's location, while central, proved to be its downfall. Nestled in a bustling area, the relentless noise from the street was a constant disturbance, significantly impacting our ability to relax and get a good night's sleep. This issue was exacerbated by inadequate soundproofing in the rooms. Another major concern was the cleanliness of our suite. Despite being touted as a luxury establishment, the standards of hygiene were subpar. We encountered issues like dust on surfaces and less-than-spotless bathrooms, which are unacceptable for a hotel of this supposed caliber. Also, our experiences with the hotel staff, particularly James the manager, were disheartening. We found the manager to be unapproachable and dismissive of our concerns. Requests for basic amenities and assistance were met with indifference, leaving us feeling unwelcome and undervalued as guests. While we had high hopes for our stay at Amor de Dios 17 Luxury Suites, the reality fell short in every aspect. From the relentless noise and poor cleanliness to the unprofessional attitude of the management, our experience was deeply disappointing. We do not recommend this hotel to travelers seeking a peaceful and luxurious stay in Madrid.

I spent 3 nights at the Amor De Dios in early October and I must say, overall, I was disappointed. The room is pretty specious but not as described. The entrance doesn't look like a hotel at all and that makes me feel a little uncomfortable. Also, the manager is definitely arrogant. The location is not the best you can find but it is located more or less at the center. It is not the most luxurious neighborhood if you know what I mean... All in all, if you consider the relatively high price per night, I would not recommend it as there are way better value-for-money options in Madrid

Super convenient location off Calle Atocha, within walking distance of the station. Very well soundproofed - it was a quiet place to stay. I booked a small studio but was upgraded to a 2-bed apartment! Very comfortable and easy to access accommodation and James, the building manager, could not have been more helpful.

What a fabulous stay! Amor de Dios is located in the perfect spot. It's beautiful, comfortable, quiet, and within a short walking distance of food, shops, laundry, museums, and the train station. We purposely chose this property for its two bedrooms, two baths, and small kitchen. It did not disappoint. Our two teen girls loved having their own room and their own beds. Everything was super comfortable, beautifully decorated, and clean. The owner is what makes the stay. He was so knowledgeable about the city of Madrid. He sent us to fabulous restaurants, helped us navigate the local laundry, and guided us as needed with the local culture. I would recommend to anyone visiting Madrid to book a stay here. We loved it! P.S. do check out two super awesome places nearby- the Levaduramadre Bakery is outstanding, and if you want a pair of Madrid-made, unique sunglasses stop by Wilde. You won't be disappointed.
