Very comfortable, fun, throwback roadside motel updated to the "way it was" in the 50s. The motel is close to I-20, the town of Madison GA (you GOTTA see it and spend a day or two or three), attractions (Georgia Safari, great restaurants, anti-bellum homes, and more).

Really neat renovation. Rooms were immaculate, although a little "old" smelling. Our room had air purifier to combat that. TVs only had Roku. Could not get local channels. A little frustrating. We wanted room closer to private suite, but there is no one on site, so we couldn't switch rooms. It's like an Airbnb. There is panel on door to punch in code, which is emailed to you. Even though you are close to downtown Madison (fantastic town), the immediate area around the motel is not as good as downtown. Bedding was really good. Great fridge. We got a lot of stuff in there. They supply tons of shampoos, etc. Lots of K-cups. Overall a nice stay.

Adorably retro but clearly recently updated motel. Super clean, comfortable King size bed, nice pillows. Spotless room. Found this gem when we were late planning a stay for our son’s graduation and all lodging in Athens and nearby was booked. Air conditioning worked nicely, as did the flat screen television. The only (picky) reason I would take a half star away is that the bathroom’s noisy fan comes on with the light (no separate fan switch) and the shower water temperature was a little bit hard to regulate. All in all would stay here again! A pleasant 40 minute low traffic ride to the University of Georgia campus.
