Excellent communication pre-arrival - parking (very cheap), check-in (self-service). Make no mistake, this is a quirky hotel but it worked for us. Very small room and en-suite but everything is there for a comfortable stay. Restaurant/bar downstairs has a great vibe and the food is superb. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel.Situation is ideal with nearby pubs and venues all jumping on a Friday evening.

No terrestrial tv only apps/Netflix etc No bottled water, tap water in a carafe Seat ripped, in size of room Absolutely no parking but advertises parking Room not like the pictures and my Fella is quite big had to have loo door open as sink quite big for size of room For £160 very disappointed

Super quirky, super efficient small hotel in the heart of town. Everything is walkable and the proximity to the Station is very good. Lovely shower, super comfy bed and actually the noise from outside is fine and we didn’t need the earplugs. Breakfast or indeed dinner is downstairs in Suburban Green. A great menu for both. The Macc Muffin is to die for. The staff are very friendly. Price is ok. Communication with Laura before the actual date was excellent. My one tip is keep an eye on opening/closing times as we didn’t realise it shut at 8pm on a Sunday night, so no night cap that day. Overall we loved the place and as our son now lives in Macc (we live in East Sussex) we will likely become regulars at the Bohotel.

Stayed there with my partner as we were celebrating her birthday with a meal at the nearby Aquila Tapas Restaurant. The hotel is situated above Suburban Green and you enter and exit the hotel through the Restaurant. No reception with the rooms all having keypad locks. We stayed in room 1 which has a copper freestanding tub and a full on victorian vibe. Bit of noise at night due to it being above the bar and on quite a busy street in terms of eateries, but to be fair we stayed on a Saturday and didn't find it disturbed us as it's not a late night bar. Great value and communication was excellent in terms of checking in checking out.

I went to stay in the dorm at Bohotel when visiting Macclesfield for a yoga training. Everything went very smooth. Even though I arrived late in the evening to a seemingly empty house, the owner was SO helpful with the key pad lock on the Phone, and everyone in my dorm was friendly and helpful too. When I arrived I also got this sweet little basket with towels, a reading lamp and some sweet treats. It really felt like a home staying there. Would for sure come back!

Easy check in, helpful recommendations and perfect stay. Stayed in room 6, super comfy bed, lovely cosy room and everything we needed. Excellent communication from host and brilliant location. Especially having the food/drinks downstairs.

We stopped at this amazing hotel as a gift from our children after our wedding yesterday. The rooms are truly amazing. We had a chrome roll top bath in our room and the whole experience is something very special. The rooms are very large, clean and have everything you could need. The attention to detail and the quality of the furniture and fitting is excellent.
