The toilet and sink are blocked and I saw lot of death cockroach behind of night stand..

The room was extremely unclean and smelly. Please beware.

My boyfriend and I traveled from Virginia Beach to celebrate my birthday at Luray Caverns. It was convenient that the Days Inn was just a couple of minutes away. However, check in took 20 minutes and there was only one person in front of us checking in, but 2 ladies behind the counter using only one computer. The room smelled old and there were 2 dead bugs on the floor, one in the bathroom and one next to the jet tub. The next day, our checkout day, we both had to take cold showers. We were told afterwards that the whole hotel had no hot water! I asked for a discount and was told I'd have to call the manager, Mary, the next day. I did, and she was very pleasant and did put some money back on my credit card. Even after the discount, though, that hotel was not worth $150 a night. It's just very old. The bed was not comfortable and the carpet looked like it needed replacing. I'll end on a good note and say that we did both enjoy the jet tub. That was the best part.

Toilet chain was tied in a knot so it wouldn't flush properly. Refrigerator made a constant ticking noise all night. Shower handle was not attached to the valve. No hot water in the morning and the front desk had the nerve to say that this was normal because everyone was using the hot water at the same time!

It was fine for a quick nights sleep. Could tell it needed a good cleaning. There were some dead bugs and lots of dirt in the bathroom. There aren’t many options in the area, so we ****** it up and stayed because we were tired. Bed was comfy, A/C was kickin and the proximity to Luray and Shenandoah were the only redeeming qualities. Just a little work could make their guest much more comfortable.

This was the worst check-in I've ever had. I was given a room on the second floor, the door lock didn't work. Then I was given a second room on the second floor, that door lock didn't work. After having moved my luggage twice, I went back to the front desk. This time I was given a room on the first floor, the door lock worked, but barely stayed shut. The room was old and in poor condition. I would never stay here again.

very nice view from room. staff was very nice and helpful. seemed to be working on fixing issues
