Abendessen gab es abwechseln in verschiedenen Restaurents. Super Frühstück, zentrale Lage. Ein Hotel im alten Schweizer Stil. Personal super freundlich. Lohnt sich Sommer wie Winter

Traditionshotel in Ortszentrum
Historisches Hotel in der Fussgängerzone. Die Atmosphäre ist Alpin mit traditionellem Alpen-Flair. Sehr freundliches Management und Personal und sehr gute Restaurant. Die Zimmer sind nicht gross aber bieten guten mittelklasse Komfort, einige mit Balkon (gegen Aufpreis).

Cute, clean hotel. Owners Nadia and Thomas are incredibly warm and hospitable. Located on the main shopping street in Engelberg. Easy walk to the train station and ski lift. Also very accessible bus service to the lifts.

Delightful hotel where we spent 2 nights at the start of the Via Alpina trek. The proprietors are very welcoming and do everything possible to make your stay a pleasant one. Room was comfortable with an immaculate bathroom. Breakfast was plentiful with good variety and is taken in a large dining room. There is a bar with an outside balcony to sit on and enjoy watching the world go by. Unfortunately the hotel restaurant was closed Monday & Tuesday so we were unable to eat there. However this was an excellent place to stay at the start of our trek.

I booked this hotel as the price was good and reviews were very good. After staying for 5 nights I can honestly say the staff were exceptional. Nothing was too much for them and every single time you see them they always would smile and speak to you and see how you are doing. I cannot praise them enough especially the lady on reception (sorry I did not get your name). The room was extremely clean and although the decor was dated (which fit the theme for the hotel so not a complaint) you could see the cleaning was extremely good and always done daily. The beds were comfy but 1 small suggestion is the sofa bed to have a matress topper as it can be a little too firm in areas. The hotel is in a great location, shuttle bus nearby to titlis or brunni or even a very short walk to the local monastery. The only feedback I would give is the hallways at night got very dark and sometimes the lights would not illuminate the stairs or hall very well. I have to say during the stay though the staff corrected this but it took a few days. Breakfast was lovely small spread but very nice. Again staff were fantastic there and would always happily greet you Thank you to the team for our stay and for sure I would recommend and stay again

Wonderful family-run hotel on the main street of the village, friendly, unpretentious, clean and well kept. Fairly quiet when I visited in July.
