Mysigt boende mitt i stan. Lyhört och världens minsta dusch men annars toppen!

Abbiamo soggiornato per una notte, posizione ottima, vista carina sulla piazza,accoglienza della signora Monica molto disponibile, camera piccola, senza TV, e sopratutto bagno non accessibile a tutti due gradini alti per raggiungerlo e senza bidet e con la doccia in una nicchia di fronte alta e pericolosa all uscita con i piedi bagnati, io penso che bisognerebbe renderlo piu sicuro!!! La colazione discreta servita in una locanda di fronte, abbastanza varia con un gestore poco gentile ...

B&b curato in zona centrale. Camera climatizzata con tutti i comfort (climatizzatore, doccia, phon, bollitore, set thè, asciugamani, frigo bar). Dalla nostra stanza meravigliosa la vista su Piazza Anfiteatro (senza ripercussioni sulla qualità del sonno). Titolare disponibilissimo con possibilità di check in da remoto a tarda notte. Camera pulita, servizio impeccabile, prezzo competitivo. Colazione entro e non oltre le 10,fiscalissimi.

Beware - I booked through ******* but will not do that again as when couldn’t get a flight in time for the first day, and I tried to change the booking to arrive the second day of my week long stay, it cancelled the whole booking and re-booked at a much higher rate. So I called the B&B to try to make the change but they cannot do this. They saved my room for me but I had to pay for the night I wasn’t there. Annoying. I had a room overlooking the plaza. It’s very noisy with buskers and their sound equipment, for the most part playing music they think Americans would like. Also the volume of diners talking in the street just below, made me want to close the windows much of the time, it was like being at a loud party where you knew no one. It was a great view, so definitely a trade off Monica, who seems to do everything there, was friendly and helpful, but her time there is erratic.

We have just returned from a 10 night stay at the B&B Arena Di Lucca. Everything was perfect. The room was large and comfortable with super king bed sofa and chair. Spacious on ensuite with lovely shower gel and soaps replenished throughout our stay. We were also provided with bottled water daily. The service was second to none. We were given lots information and recommendation. Nothing was too much trouble. Very friendly and welcoming. The perfect place to stay for a memorable visit to Lucca. It is situated over looking the piazza where there are many restaurants. Breakfast is taken at the Tre Merli which is just outside the main entrance and they serve a substantial continental breakfast. Wonderful holiday highly recommend
