We were scared of large crowds at the wall, and followimg many online recommendation we found the Jinshanling section. This hotel is at the great location a short walk from the mid enterance to the wall section, the Gubeikou train station is also very reachable from the Beijingbei (North) train station. It is also quite affordable to reach the place by Didi (550 yuan from the Beijing airport). The place is clean, and the food really stands out as quite amazing, the prices are also very low, for room and food. Just tell the owner you would want a breakfast and you will be served one first thing in the morning. The ladies are also super nice and very hospitable to the foreign turists.

Somos una familia de 4 personas y estuvimos alojados una noche en 2 habitaciones. El personal fue muy amable y aunque no hablaban inglés ni español, pusieron todo el interés en comunicarse con nosotros a través del traductor y estuvieron atentos para satisfacer nuestras necesidades en todo momento. Nos dieron de comer fuera de horas habituales e incluso nos pudieron llevar a Luanping para coger un bus hasta Beijing. La relación calidad-precio fue excelente y la ubicación perfecta para ir caminando hasta la entrada para visitar la muralla china en Jinshangling. Fuimos el sábado por la tarde entrando sobre las 15h y fue todo un acierto porque había poca gente. Es una zona preciosa. Excursión super recomendable. De vuelta se nos hizo de noche pero volvimos caminando unos 30 min al hotel sin problemas. Recomendamos este alojamiento 100%.

Nice place, proche de la grande muraille: 30/35min a pied. La muraille est géniale il y a des parcelles restaurées et non restaurées. La chambre, nous avons bien dormi, juste une odeur de choux fort dans la salle de bain. Le restaurant : c'était super bon pour les dînesr ; le petit déjeuner est vraiment parfait. Le déjeuner vous pouvez le prendre à emporter et explorer la grande muraille. La famille est gentille et accueillante.

Hotel decente. Il personale non è stato molto amichevole ed ha gonfiato i prezzi per il trasporto alla stazione. La sera prima abbiamo prenotato la colazione, ci hanno detto 10 rmb a testa (è anche specificato sul sito). Dopo aver fatto colazione ci hanno fatto pagare il doppio. Ci siamo lamentati e hanno inventato scuse, alla fine abbiamo pagato di più perché eravamo in ritardo. Non consiglio questo hotel, il personale non è ospitale.

The hotel was nothing like a 3 star. Maybe 1 or 2 star. The shower was on top of the toilet and there were only two small towels with no shampoo. For the price it was ok, but the starts should be representative, not deceiving!

金山嶺強勝民宿在景區外，距離遊客中心十來分鐘，可以直接打車到達。招牌很大很好找，一樓有餐廳，也可以買礦泉水和其他飲料，價格很良心。二樓房間在樓梯上，行李少住二樓很安靜。 洗澡熱水温度熱得快，夠熱，洗手間水壓正常，毛巾和洗漱用品俱全。需要什麼用品如吹風機和杯子可以問1樓工作人員拿。 房間小細節設計很實用，有3個掛鈎在門前走廊掛衣服，洗手間毛巾架可以掛毛巾也有鐵鈎可以掛衣服，充電口和電源安裝在床頭兩張單人床之間，大家都可以同時手機充電上網。 喜歡床屬於比較硬，腰不好睡硬床比較舒適。 如果提前通知老闆，老闆有空可以接送到金山嶺檢票口，價格$10/人，這段路也可以在營業時間坐景區電瓶車，如果自己走到檢票處要30分鐘左右。需要看日出的話也可以和老闆約好時間，檢票處開門時間在4：00。同時也可以商量接送到古北口站，一般車程20-30分鐘。 後天是中秋節放了煙花，不是小的沙灘玩的煙花，是真正放老高的那種，太厲害啦。

住宿可以，飯菜味道不錯，就是有點小貴，尤其是早餐，每人十五就是饅頭雞蛋稀飯，菜太少了。
