The owners Helen and Shane were truly awesome. They made us feel part of the family, and nothing was a problem. While dated, the facilies were still in great condition, and far exceeded our Tongan expectations. The rooms were spotless, and the bathroom and showers truly wonderful. Use of the snorkeling equipment and kayaks was free, and available 24/7. The staff were friendly and courteous. Location was the best in the island. We could sit on our porch, metres from the sea and watch both the sunrise and sunset. The sand was beautifully groomed, There was great snorkeling right off the beach. Fantastic value for money. I have stayed in some very posh resorts around the world, but it is the atmosphere that makes a good location great. Helen and Shane really added a significant gloss to an already fantastic resort. We will be back, and I have already passed on their details to other people planning their holidays.

Had the best holiday ever. Shane and Helen were the most gracious and accomadating hosts going above and beyond to make this a birthday i will never forget,the staff super friendly,and the location and accomadation was perfect. Kayaking and Snorkeling off the beach any time of year this is an amazing place to go to.

This island was the last day of our trip and one of the best places to unwind, canoe, hike, and they provided a great lunch. Bar available with a variety of drinks. A great place for the whole family.

Excellent place for a quiet relaxing stay. Staff friendly and relaxed. Rooms all brand new - beautifully done in lovely neutral beach theme. Mattress was fab! Beach off resort is good for swimming and there is also a little plunge pool. We had a special occasion while there and the team made a beautiful job of creating a table for us on the beach with flowers and candles. There were no issues with us bringing our own bottle of bubbles to the table. Food great - lots of fresh items, we mostly ate fresh fish with salad. Breakfast great, filter coffee (excellent) and fresh fruit with cooked selections as well - scrambled eggs, bacon, etc. Cocktails excellent selection and well prepared. All prices reasonable. If you’re coming for whales there were lots of people being picked up from the wharf out the front so don’t worry about being out of town- the quietness makes up for it.
