I booked very close to going so there wasn’t much left but weighing up the reviews etc. I thought even though there are some bad reviews some people say it was very good so I would give it a go. I know it’s not the most expensive accommodation, however having left it so late it was very overpriced, my expectations were a clean place to rest and enjoy as a base. Firstly the positive, I found the bed to be very comfortable. Unfortunately that’s where it ends. The reasons are: Filthy, the cleaners do clean a few times, but there is no attention to detail, I think they just clean the floor and rinse the shower. I have included pictures of the dust on the light in the bedroom. A few small cockroaches albeit dead! Damp smell throughout. Very run down and grubby, nothing is maintained and even the towels were torn and stained. No AC, it was fine for us being late October and the ceiling fans done what we needed but in the summer that would be unbearable. Pool freezing although advertised as heated. I think some of the positive comments are for people who got lucky, I noticed some of the accommodation looked different to ours. Putting aside this is very outdated I believe everybody should expect well maintained and clean accommodation and this certainly wasn’t that. Very below par compared to other hotels we have stayed in, in Tenerife. Think twice and believe the bad reviews.
