Amazing resort! Beautiful views, extremely friendly service, personal concierge for your entire stay and 30 min from the airport. We went for a fun couples getaway and I highly recommend it for couples and even families. We will be bringing our kids back in 2025.

This resort is the best resort I have ever stayed at. They get everything right. From checking in, to the cleanliness of the room, the tentative pool staff, the amazing food at Yaya and Comal. Everything was perfect. Mon was always making sure everything was just right! I can’t wait to go back.

TL;DR Pros: Beautiful property, large rooms, lots of amenities and activities, great food. Cons: Ocean view rooms are a waste of $, Private beach isn't even usable, service is lacking. The property itself is beautiful and pretty large. Service on arrival is excellent from the front desk to the porters to the concierge. Paco our personal concierge was exceptional and prepared a nice personalized greeting for my birthday. Unfortunately we were disappointed with the ocean view room . Our room was really a view of the construction site nextdoor so that was a bummer. It was a very unsightly as our room faced more towards the adjacent construction site and crowded public beach. There was constant construction noise and constant foot traffic. Pretty much the opposite of what I hoped for in a scenic relaxing stay. The hotel is design poorly and rooms face out away from the center of the property. We could have stayed in the city if we wanted to stare at heavy machinery and throngs of people walking by. There should be some warning on the website about the construction and noise levels for some of the ocean view rooms so guest aren't caught off guard like we were. We ended up requesting a room change and were placed in a garden view room, which ended up being a much better spot but also a little awkward since there was no separation between us and our neighbors who were staring at us through the sliding doors in their plunge pool. This property is just not laid out well. Also the hotel also did not compensate us for taking a lower room class. So we ended paying for a more expensive room than what we actually stayed in. Overall this was a big negative from day 1 of our trip. Fortunately inside the rooms are beautiful and spacious. The outdoor showers and soaking tubs are very nice. Rooms have a nicely stocked mini bar, coffee, tea, and nice walk in closets. These are some of the best room interirors I've seen at any property. The resort has a fleet of golf carts for moving guest around the property and a fleet of suburbans for local transportation which is great, you never have to call ahead for a taxi/car. The Well spa is excellent. The staff and therapists are all incredible. The spa facilities are very nice as well. The pools are very nice. Pool service was mostly very good. The first day at the pool we were largely ignored but the service was better after our first day thankfully. The private beach is laughable. It is a small, rocky patch of sand with a pair of lowly chairs setup and the surf is quite rough. If you want to actually enjoy the sand and calm water you need to go next door to the public beach. The hotel should just advertise that instead of trying to pass theirs off any sort of decent enjoyable beach because it is not. The fitness center is very nice but not large enough to accommodate a resort of this size. The gym is packed in the mornings and you'll have to wait for cardio equipment since they only have a few treadmills. The

El lugar es bonito, sin embargo la playa es muy pequeña, ruidoso porque están construyendo del mismo hotel, la comida es buena, desde mi experiencia muy costoso. Los espacios y arquitectura es bonito, la alberca y restaurantes bonitos, las tiendas tienen cosas diferentes pero para mi gusto todo está excesivamente caro, si lo comparo con otros hoteles de lujo y experiencias prefiero otras locaciones con playa y naturaleza exhuberante.

Chileno Bay went above and beyond on service. Greeted with a fresh towel and welcome drink at check in, they take your bags and give you a tour of the property, and show you around your room. There was a welcome drink and chips/guac waiting for us in the room. Highlights from the trip: dinner at Comal, the service by the pool, the SPA!! The view from Comal is spectacular, the service is amazing, and the food is really really good. I will say food is expensive (which is relative). Entrees around $60, wine around $25-$30/glass, cocktails around $20+. But the food really was amazing and you’re paying for the view. The pool service was insaneee. Once you sit down they bring you out a complimentary water bottle bucket with tons of ice in it. They will keep replenishing the bottles AND the ice in it as it melts. They move the umbrellas around as the sun moves in the sky to make sure it’s exactly where you want it at all times. They check in on you constantly to see if you want any drinks or snacks. You can pretty much order anything to the pool even if you don’t see it on the menu lol. They were all so friendly and genuinely seemed happy to be working there (that goes for all the staff on property). The spa was also SO great. The locker rooms are fully stocked, the massage was great, and they have ONE co-Ed space that has relaxation chairs and a little fountain in the middle. The separate facilities include the locker rooms, salt room, steam shower, hot tub/cold plunge area with chairs. Staff was also friendly. The concierge you are assigned can help make any reservations you need, they check in on you throughout the day and will even walk by in person wherever you are to make sure you’re well taken care of. Alan was super sweet and made our stay extra easy and effortless - just like a vacation should be! There’s also a coffee shop on property called El Molino and they have breakfast sandwiches, smoothies, coffees, pastries, etc. we did breakfast here a couple times and just brought it back to our room’s patio to eat and it was really great. We also did breakfast at Comal where you can order a La carte or pay $50-something a person and order anything on the menu, juice, coffee, and a buffet with pastry items and yogurt. Great view! They also have a place called H2O cave that has tons of *free* water activities. Snorkeling gear, paddle boards, kayaks, etc. The rooms are also super well stocked. They constantly refill the waters in the waters. Stay was amazing!!

El resort es increible, todo el staff hace lo posible por darte la mejor atencion. La comida es deliciosa y es un lugar perfecto para descansar y relajarte.
