Stayed at the Hotel Indigo Downtown LosAngeles over the weekend and had a great vacation stay. Beautiful hotel. The rooms were great with great views. Loved everything about the hotel especially the bar and restaurant. All the bartenders and servers were great including Hugo in the morning and Chris and Jared at night. Went to the 18 social loungue/nightclub and met Viet another fabulous bartender. We went around 8pm and felt like we had our own personal bartender. He made us feel so at home. We started with the pineapple mule and the south side royal, both wonderful. He talked about drink making and some of the processes of combining flavors and balancing of ingredients. Then he went off the menu and made what he called a ****** mai Tai and an Italian old fashion. Explained the sense of smell is just as important as to The sense of taste. Why ****** Mai Tai? You have to ask him yourself. We had so much fun. The loungue is beautiful with a great view of the whole city. Great for couples. We had so fun. Thank you Hotel Indigo. You have a great hotel and more than great staff!
