EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE!!!!! I always go to 5 star hotels but there was something else about this one! This one was a top notch experience I will def be returning… Everything there was including food and service was more than excellent

Wow! What a beautiful property! We enjoyed our stay from beginning to end! We were initially greeted with a warm welcome by Frazier with a complimentary glass of champagne. He did a great job explaining the amenities and provided excellent suggestions for our stay. I met Jeffrey, who was very kind and made excellent recommendations for our group. And Curtis, the resort driver, made certain that we arrived at our destinations safely, while also being able to help us navigate the best places to visit off property. We had meals from three of the onsite restaurants. All three meals were exceptional. The bedding in the rooms was perfect...I would love to know the mattress company! (I tried to look..lol). We enjoyed taking the bikes for a spin, laying on the beach, the adult pool, the sunsets, and the lazy river. What a relaxing trip. I would highly recommend this resort!

Have been here several times now. The property is stunning; however, when you are paying $1,500 and more per night you expect that the service and food will be top-notch...they are not. Food is sub-par and overpriced (with the exception of the breakfast buffet-that is worth it). Pool staff practically have to be begged to bring a new towel, move an umbrella, etc. When we have been there, all three times, on each trip, other guests say the same and cannot believe the price-service mis-match. I have seen the recent slew of positive reviews which seems suspect to me (I know hotels pay for influencers to post about their trip, unsure if that is what is going on).

Everything about our trip to the St Regis at Longboat Key was wonderful. The staff, especially the ladies in the coffee shop and bar tenders at Monkey Bar and the main lobby bar went above and beyond to provide amazing service. The rooms were lovely, the grounds well appointed. Perfect for a fun relaxing upscale get away.

We booked this vacation through Marriott Bonvoy/ *******. What a disaster. $4,500 trip was the biggest mistake. They mistakenly cancelled our first flight to the hotel. Had to by tickets ourselves to get on the plane, which was row 30. We had premium seats, row ten. The layover was even worse. We had to run to the next flight, and we were the last to board. Keep in mind my partner has a heart condition, and thankfully she brought her medication. Got to the hotel, and had asked prior to our arrival, that all feather pillows be removed from the room, due to the fact that my partner is allergic. As we settled in for bed, my partner started having trouble breathing. Wouldn’t you know there are feather pillows. Do not book through *******, or any other company they are associated with, like Marriott Bonvoy. Oh one other thing, when I asked for at least a 25% refund, since our trip was for 4days in total, they refused. Any thoughts on how to recover from this nightmare.

This is the first time I’ve ever in my life left a review, but this has to be said. 5 star location…1 start service. The staff failed at every level. EVERY LEVEL. Reservations were made months in advance for a special family event. Check-in? Botched as rooms were not available until more than an hour after guaranteed availability and then only because they had to asign us to an another room that was ready. Concierge service? Birthday cakes arrived at the wrong room not once but twice after multiple, clear, in-person discussion weeks and then days ahead of time. Poolside Cabanas? Zero server engagement. Empty plates and dishes left on the ground beside us for 6 hours attracting ants while being ignored by our server. Lunch delivery to the cabana? 1 hour and 15 mins for a cold sandwich and fries. Drinks delivered to the cabana? Melted Pina Coladas took an hour and were served in a beer glass that was taller than the straw that had sunk to the bottom. Reserved Beach day beds selected specifically to be convenient for the elderly members of our party? Filled by another family…we were offered another 200 yards down the beach. Butler service? More than hour and two phone calls to get a bucket of ice. Turn down service? Walked into the room without knocking and literally walked around while I was half dressed setting up glasses of water on the bedside table. Was unable to communicate in English when I expressed that this was not ok. Beachfront restaurant? Closes at 6:30pm…two hours before sunset. Second-level sushi restaurant? Knee-high tables that make it impossible to enjoy your food without dropping pieces on the ground or yourself. Lazy River? Too few Tubes that were a free-for-all…families hoarded them, stacking 6 or 8 tubes when they’re not using them just to make sure that didn’t lose access. And it didn’t stop there…A week or so after our stay, we realized that a guest of ours (who should never have been asked to swipe a card to get a key to a room we had already checked into) was charged thousands of dollars by mistake. I went back in person to rectify and was told that the only person who could reverse the charge wasn’t working that day…that I would have to come back two days later. After an hour of my clarifying questions, it was revealed that all they needed to do was send a simple email and have our guest click a button on the other end. Mind-blowing levels of indifference. Afterward, there were no follow ups from management, no email to communicate their concern and hopes to regain my business. I don’t have the words to convey how far off from 5 start service this location provides. I’ve stayed at the St Regis in other cities multiple times. Night and day difference between those and this location. The facility, beaches, and gulf are nice…yes. But let me be clear here, there wasn’t a single, solitary thing that went well with this 16k stay. If you want 5-star service, this is not where you’ll find it. Do yourself a favor and stay at one
