Room 12 - their most deluxe room: Cleanliness - OK, except for the filth under the sofas which had not been cleaned; only noticed because I dropped something underneath and looked to find it - shocking! Kitchen - nice, except for the fact the fridge stank to high heaven each time it was opened; was disgusting but clean inside. It likely might be due to not being used too often: Fridges need to be used to stay clean and fresh. Cleaners - re-arranged things in the room, and threw away what they decided was rubbish but wasn't. Barely got an apology or an offer to replace the item. Be warned! Towels - barely enough for each person; one each - a hand towel which had to be used for your whole body. Water temperarture of the shower - either scalding hot ot freezing cold. This is shared with the kitchen and when they use appliances or the sink, this affects the room's shower temperature; very unpleasant. Breakfast - sparse and cheap Location - very good in terms of Oxford and activities Toilet paper - one roll only Rubbish bins - so tiny that one item thrown away filled it up All in all a disappointing stay, but the surrounding areas are lovely, and if you do choose to stay there, I would suggest one of the smaller rooms, as at least you know what you're getting. Not worth the money!

Like a tiny Travelodge, staffed minimally, offering an inexpensive, small, secure room, a very nice breakfast, and almost nothing else. Sometimes it's like you are staying in a tiny Overlook Hotel--might be *******. If you just can't make it any farther than the Hanborough rail station, or you just have to sleep close to Blenheim Palace, then maybe this is your place. But watch out--Hanbororugh and environs close early on Sundays--we had to hit the fish'n-chips shop a good way up the road to find dinner, after arriving a few minutes after 5. And Blenheim Palace is a long walk around--the free shuttle bus that used to stop in front of Churchill Court no longer runs..

We hired the whole property for 2 nights to celebrate a big birthday. We had researched various options, and the Churchill Court reviewed extremely well. I’m happy to say the reviews were correct! Yan and her team were really helpful and friendly from the point of booking, through to dealing with all of our queries along the way, and then our welcome when we arrived. The rooms were great - modern and well appointed. The cafe area was perfect for our meal then for 24 people followed by lots of dancing. I’d highly recommend the hire of the whole property for big celebrations. The location is great if you have people coming from the SW, the SE and the Midlands. Plus Long Hanborough station is really close, so access by train is easy too.

Stayed at this place for two nights. Self check-in was easy and straightforward, my room was very clean and communal area was neatly presented. The parking area is spacious and the staff at cafe were efficient. Basically it offers what it says it does well, hence I was quite satisfied. It was concerning when I read a few reviews pointing out the noise from the main road, however, my experience was quite different and I was able to have a very good sleep. Perhaps that is due to the fact that my room was not facing the main road. As such, if there are choices, I would recommend requesting a room away from the main road. It is located in an ideal location when visiting Blenheim place. Even when not, it is perfect for a walk there as there is one of community path entrances to the estate just across the road. It is also only 5mins walk to the Oxford bus museum, which is a small yet very charming and educational place.

We booked for 1 night as this was closest hotel I could find with availability when attending an event at nearby Blenheim Palace. The location was very convenient and close to a footpath through woods to the palace. Nice people running the hotel. Room very clean and nicely furnished. Good breakfast.

Really easy to get to. This hotel has 11 rooms and enough parking. We stayed in the family room with a kitchenette. Rooms were very clean and the entrance was lovely, very modern. We received a very warm welcome and shown to our room. We had an array of tea and coffee and some milk pods. Nice size fridge, oven, washing up liquid, cloth, tea towel. The room is very comfortable. Breakfast superb, nice selection. What a gem of a place.
