The waitresses are lovely but the waits are not. If you ask your waitress for a round of drinks it takes about 20 minutes for them to arrive (not the waitress's fault, it's how the app orders seem to keep trumping all others). If you order your drinks on their app they arrive almost straight away. The food took a good 45 minutes to arrive and even when it did, I couldn't have what I actually wanted (the quiche) because it would take 30 minutes to make from scratch but chef didn't mention that until half an hour after the order went in. We were so hungry by then we just need to eat so we all had Sunday roasts. They are priced around £22 and are nothing special.

The hotel is wonderful and the staff superb. Our room was spacious and well equipped. However, the lighting was not adequate to enable us to read a book. The bathroom, though well equipped, had no hand-held attachement to the shower. The water pressure in the hand basin was so strong that it was impossible to wash our hands without splashing everywhere.

Stayed here for 3 nights while attending the tennis championship for the 1st time. Room and accommodation was excellent. Staff friendly and delicious breakfasts. Lively atmosphere in the pub at night but great to be in the heart of Wimbledon for the tennis-they really go all in for it! Hopefully will be lucky with tickets for next year and would love to return.

We stayed on Wimbldon finals days so the hotel/pub was busy, with live music going until midnight both nights. We had been warned about this on booking so not a problem. Our room was great. Comfortable and a good size. Plenty of tea, coffee etc including a Nespresso machine. Great choice of breakfast, all freshly cooked. Can't comment on the evening food as they weren't serving due to the live music but plenty of other options just out of the door in Wimbledon village.

We stayed for Wimbledon, it's the perfect place for getting to the championships by foot. We stayed last year and were impressed by the friendly and helpful staff. The room was comfortable and it always helps to have real milk and home made biscuits provided! This year we were very glad of the air con too. The only comment concerned the handbasin tap which is either full on or off, with no means of adjusting the flow. The pub has a great atmosphere and is clearly a big social hub for the tennis which did make it quite noisy late at night but fortunately we were so shattered it didn't bother us. Would definitely go back and highly recommend.
