都會飯店(Hotel Metro)

The hotel was great, just a big put off when we checked in and I ask if there was overnight street parking and was told there are “so many homeless people and your car would probably get broken into. Bad enough that you may fall on hard times and end up homeless, but now you’re a criminal too!!!! Turns out the parking lot was belonging to the hotel, and they charge $20 a night. I opted for the street parking, no issues. Turns out the Metro hotel charged me for the parking anyways! I was told it will be reimbursed- but still waiting.

A disappointing experience to say the least. From the staff at the front desk who couldn't care if we were there or not. No restaurant as they claim. No street access., back alley only. Manger Sean, couldn't be more hostile and any less helpful. Advised my room number and keys were in my email. No idea how to access wifi, or any other amenities, if they have them. The rug in the room looks like it had been chewed on. The noise up until midnight was on going. Just do yourself a favor and stay away. You're better off staying at a motel.

As far as "boutique" hotel goes, this one feels somewhat of a miss. Granted it's in London Ontario but still. Cons: -No included parking -I can hear footsteps from upstairs -Found a long hair around my pillow -Both time I went to see the front desk, no one was there and there's no way to call for anyone -decor starting to feel a bit outdated Pros: Location Lots of electrical outlets Smartlocks Comfy bed Funky bathtub placement Loft style High ceilings Do yourself a favor and stay at the Park Hotel. Might be a bit further from DT but has parking included and a more traditional hotel feel with breakfast, closed bedroom living room for a cheaper price. -

Was surprised to find a locked front entrance door when I arrived. I called the hotel and they told me I was on the wrong side even though it simply said Hotel Metro. The concierge did come to unlock the door which I appreciated. Suggestion: put a note on the door that the entrance is on the other side of the building.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Appreciated receiving a text before arrival to let them know if we need anything. Modern rooms. Clean. The entrance and parking is tricky to find and lobby is very small.

Very cool place! Very spacious and they give you a parking validation! I love that there aren’t many rooms so it’s easier on staff to make sure the rooms are on tip top shape. The Market connected to parking is also a must!

Property on ******* reviews ranked it a 9. This is far from a 9 property. That being said, Sean at the front desk was very nice to deal with.

That desk clerk was very helpful and professional. The room was very large and clean. Bed was comfortable . Free coffee, no breakfast. $20 for parking around the block at the market
