Beautiful characterful property with warming log burners. The ambience created by Pierre and the team is fabulous. The service from Adam and Becca was just right. The new spa and swimming areas are quiet and relaxing and the walk around the lake gives one time to drift away in your own thoughts.

The Lake Country House & Spa is the Best Hotel we have ever stayed at. The owner and staff are so friendly and welcoming. Home from home. ♥️ My daughter really needed a break. We greatly enjoyed the swimming pool and jacuzzi with stunning views of the lake. The massage was devine, the best we have ever had. Warm oil, and very relaxing. Our bedroom suite was beyond perfect. We were right by the door which was handy for our doggy. Melody's Dad played the piano when he dropped us off, which we greatly enjoyed. The walks by the lake and river were exceptional. We could not have wished for anything more. We could not believe this stunning hotel is diggy friendly. The room and hotel reminded us of Jane Austen. We will be back.

I recently stayed in this hotel with 35 Dutch people. The staff made the arrangements easy. We felt so looked after and the food was wonderful, the hotel and grounds are absolutely stunning. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We have just returned from a two night break. I have to say it’s one of the best hotels I have stayed in. Having worked in the Hospitality Industry for 13 years - I can get a bit picky 🙂 We were very much looking forward to our stay. (Although I had no idea where I was going as it was a surprise from my husband). We arrived to a very very warm welcome. We were shown around the hotel and were given all the information needed for our stay regarding Hotel and Spa facilities. The room given (Otter) was decorated lovely and had a fabulous view of the gardens. The bathroom though small, was lovely and clean with beautiful toiletries and big soft fluffy towels - the only small grumble I had about the room was the light that came in around the door at night from the hallway but it didn’t seem to bother my husband. The gardens themselves are beautifully manicured. We walked alongside the water. Soo peaceful. We ate in the restaurant on the first night - what an experience! The food was amazing and the staff incredible. Breakfast next day was beautifully cooked with a large selection of continental breakfast items. We spent the following day by the pool. Lovely and relaxing and the staff so friendly. I did have a treatment with Alla which was so relaxing - I almost fell asleep.(thank you Amy for organising this) The second evening we decided we didn’t want a large meal so Adam was kind enough to organise some light food for us (big shout out to the kitchen staff for their great food). All in all - what a beautiful place to stay. I cannot praise the staff enough. Other hotels out there could learn a thing or two from them. We will certainly return.

Absolutely Fantastic. Not our first stay. The feeling you get as you enter the hotel stays with you throughout your visit. Staff are the hotels biggest asset. From an initial phone call relating to booking staff were first class in every way. The service in the main restaurant and breakfast room was first class as was the food . Nothing was too much trouble and everything was done with a smile and a very professional manner. It was excellent in every way. So looking forward to our next visit

Spent a delightful day here on a spa day. The location of the hotel and spa is nestled in glorious mid Wales. I didn't go inside the hotel but the spa is located at the edge of the lake with the hot tub overlooking it. Excellent pool, sauna and steam room. Spotlessly clean in all areas. The treatments I received were absolutely superb. The staff friendly and professional. A gorgeous day and the weather was fabulous. I hope to return. Thankyou.
