"飯店附近沒什麼娛樂設施，孩子根本沒辦法玩。我們預訂的時候，我明明訂的是兩大兩小的家庭房，但他們堅持只訂了兩個大人，所以沒給小孩鋪床。我只好等床單送來，自己鋪好孩子的床。我透過飯店App上的預訂資訊證明他們搞錯了之後，他們才肯鋪。房間很小，床單被套上有破洞，雙人床鋪得也很差，窗簾桿壞了，隨時可能掉下來砸到孩子。牆上到處都是污漬，還有像咖啡漬之類的濺灑痕跡，我伴侶拍了照片。浴缸裡的水龍頭鏈斷了，用過之後就取不出來，所以沒辦法用淋浴，也沒辦法換浴缸水。水龍頭也常出問題。晚上特別吵，任何時候都能聽到有人從房間門口走來走去。 他們還在飯店所有公共區域明目張膽地放置了捕鼠器，絲毫沒有掩飾有老鼠的事實，這令人非常反感。 我們還有證據表明，房間的鏡子後面可能裝有攝影機或其他監視設備，這是不可接受的，也是違法的！房間一晚就要80多英鎊，這樣的價格完全無法接受，我們以後絕對不會再入住這家飯店。我們有照片可以證明這一切，稍後會上傳。"

"We stayed here for my birthday and we were very happy with every part of our stay. Our room was absolutely beautiful with so many lovely little touches. We had the most peaceful night we've had in a hotel for a long time, the area was lovely and quiet. Our hosts Steve, Marius and Olo were really welcoming. The food there was to die for, not only is Marius a fantastic chef, he was a great guy to chat to also! We will definitely be back!"

"I would give zero if I could. Went for an early evening meal before a concert in the town. Didn’t notice the car park notice about permits, even though I am now aware. The pub was empty apart from myself and my sister-in-law. We spoke to the barmaid and chatted about the concert. We ere there for approximately an hour, then left for the concert. A week later , I received a fine for £100 for parking in the car park. I appealed this and provided evidence of us having been there for a meal by way of a bank statement with the cost of the meal & venue clearly visible. This appeal was turned down. So I had to pay £100 simply because I didn’t get a permit from the Thomas Arms when we entered. The member of bar staff didn’t even ask us or remind us about this on entry or during our chat. Other places with the same car park rules usually remind customers on entry, incase, like us , they didn’t see the signs. We will never go to the Thomas Arms again and would advise others not to go there either. It’s a complete rip off."
