Colin and Sandra work so hard for the benefit of their guests. They are exceptional hosts. The room was pristinely clean and very comfortable with a great view of the sea. The food is superb- the breakfast was delicious and we had a meal on one evening which was really good- Sandra is an excellent cook. Swn y Mor is in a great location, very close to the town and also to the Venue Cymru ,ideal for visits to the theatre. There is also a car park at the rear of the hotel which is a real bonus. We will return!

My umpteenth stay at Swn y Mor and as always it has been very enjoyable. Met Colin and Sandra, the new Proprietors and found them to be very welcoming.New to the business of hoteling they have taken to it with enthusiasm. Sandra is an excellent cook and every meal I had was delicious. The cleanliness of the hotel was very much up to standard.

This is a belated review, as we have been busy and forgot to do it, but it's none the less heartfelt. We had a wonderful time in the Swn Y Mor earlier this year. We were initially a little nervous, as we had stayed in the hotel several times while Chris and Steven were running the hotel. However, we were delighted when we realised that Colin and Sandra, the new owners, were as friendly and committed to delivering an excellent guest experience as the previous owners had been. We had a brilliant holiday and I enjoyed the vegetarian and vegan breakfasts each morning. Nothing was too much trouble and the room was, as always, clean and well serviced. The chocolate for booking direct was a nice treat and it was great to see the little gingerbread people on the tray with our drinks items! Thank you! We would definitely recommend this seafront hotel to anyone staying in Llandudno. If you can, try to book a sea view room. We did and enjoyed the amazing bay and Orme views every day and evening. The hotel is perfectly situated for the seafront, walks along the bay, shopping in the town or climbing up the Great and Little Ormes. We parked the car and never used it all week, preferring to walk and catch local buses to Colwyn Bay and Rhos on Sea, and Bangor. We look forward to returning to our favourite hotel in Llandudno, a place which has captured our heart. Thank you, Colin and Sandra, for a perfect holiday. :-)

An enjoyable stay but a little overshadowed by, 1. No sitting room and no chairs in the bedroom. 2. We were aware that our room was on the second floor to the rear with no lift but the stairs, 40 of them from the reception, were indeed quite taxing, not to mention the steep flight of stairs from the car park to reception. 3. Our room had a door leading out onto a fire escape. This was the only source of ventilation. We didn’t feel comfortable leaving this door open at night, hence we found the room quite airless. On the plus side, 1. Location was fantastic. 2. Cleanliness was very good 3. Breakfast excellent. 4. Proprietor very amenable.

Just back from a 2 night stay, the hotel was lovely and clean, comfy bed, wonderful views from my room over the bay. Car park at the rear. The breakfasts were delicious and the owners very attentive. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel. Perfect location, perfect hosts.

Have must returned from a short stay here. Very comfortable bed and a lovely breakfast to set you up for the day. The only thing was the steps to the room and no lift, but got used to them ventually.
