Marvel Beach House = Mini-moon goals! The staff were absolute legends, going above and beyond to make our stay amazing. The stress of life and wedding planning disappeared the moment we walked in. The views were stunning, especially paired with the best music at the perfect volume. We loved waking up to those gorgeous sunrises. The rooms were spotless, the decor was tasteful, and the peacefulness was palpable. If you're looking for a romantic beach escape, you can't beat The Marvel. We can't wait to come back!

I had an amazing experience at this hotel. The staff were absolutely fantastic – incredibly kind, attentive, and always available whenever I needed anything. They truly made me feel well taken care of from the moment I arrived. 😍 The breakfast was delicious, with a great variety of fresh options each morning. One of the highlights was how peaceful everything felt – there weren’t many other guests, so I had plenty of space to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The view was simply breathtaking, and the possibility of taking long walks along the beach made the stay even more special. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and warm getaway.

Very well situated in Llandudno with stunning vistas over the sea. Slept well at night to the sound of the sea . Followed by great breakfast with friendly staff. Pool overlooking the sea is just great.

The stay was too short!! Will definitely be back... absolutely beautiful and amazing! Staff was friendly and great attention to detail!! Home away from home ❤️❤️

To the management of the Marvel Beach house After staying at your guest house I’d like to place our discomfort with you. We very much appreciated the fabulous design and the expensive interior of the public areas. However, for a property your category and price, the property lacks in service and hardware. We stayed with you for 9 nights. The day of arrival and for the following days the property was under renovation. Pool and outdoor area were for 3 days covered with plastic sheets. The attendants at the house were eager to reopen the pool and did an emergency cleaning of the gravel, dust and dirt in the water. Over the period of our stay the water did not clear and the walls are full of green algae. Not very inviting! Having myself operated swimming pools it seems the attendants in the house have no idea of water treatment. Further there is an always covered jacuzzi, but unusable as the water is heated up to 43 degrees, you can boil chicken in there. Coming to the room: There is no safe, no TV, no hairdryer and no furniture on the terrace. 2 bottles of water are provided on arrival and never refilled during the stay. In the morning it is a gamble if there is water to shower or not. Mostly the pressure is so low hardly any drop of water comes out of the showerhead, particularly when there is shampoo in your hair. Day and night you hear permanently the whirring of the cameras, very discomforting. The key to the room originated in the 1960s, there is only one key, and when you desire to have made up the room one has to leave the key with the attendants. There is no aircon in the room. In the afternoon the sun is heating up the room to over 30 degrees and it will take you hours in the evening to bring the room with open windows to a bearable temperature to sleep. On our booking confirmation it was stated a separate bed- and living room with sofa. We got a room with 2 chairs. I complained to the attendants and asked to see the manager. The day after a man appeared and I had a chance to place our complaints. He offered a bottle of wine which we never got. The breakfast offered is very basic, poor. One day there was a croissant available the next day was none. Another option was cheap toast or bagel. If one is lucky there are Nespresso capsules, if not you can have instant coffee. Prior to our arrival I had inquired if one can upgrade the breakfast and was informed that one can order from the chef. During our time we have not seen a chef, only the 3 willing but incompetent attendants. They have no restaurant- or hotel experience nor did they get any professional training. In the public area there is a wonderful bar counter, but empty, nothing to sell. On offer had been 2 bottles of red wine and nothing else. No white wine, no non-alcoholic drinks, nor any other bar offers. Not even ice if you byo. So, you sit by the pool thirsty, the next shop to buy anything is in Hout Bay, 5 km away.
