Eine Lage am Rande Kapstadts zum Träumen. Schöne und großzügige Zimmer , die zwar etwas in die Jahre gekommen sind aber trotzdem allen Komfort bieten . Besonders herauszuheben ist die Freundlichkeit des Personals . Wir werden wiederkommen.

Wir waren zunächst begeistert als wir ankamen. Tolles Haus in toller Lage. Leider waren die Maler im Haus. Man konnte nicht auf den Balkon und am Pool stank es nach Farbe. Alle Liegen waren weggeräumt. Der Pool waar sehr schmutzig. Es fehlten Bademäntel, da man durch das Restaurant zum Pool muss und es dort keine Umkleidemöglichkeit gibt. Es war nicht möglich sich am Pool aufzuhalten, eeil dort ein Maler mit Kompres Farbe an die Decken sprühte. Der Sprühnebel war quasi überall. Warum macht man Renovierungsarbeiten nucht 4 Wochen später, wenn die Saison vorbei ist? Die Fenster waren so verdreckt, dass man kaum hinausschauen konnte. Man bot uns nichts zu trinken an. Keine Getränkekarte, nichts! Es fehlte der Fernseher, was uns bei der schönen Aussicht mit Farbgestank aber nicht fehlte.

One of the most marvelous getaways I've had within South Africa. It was truly a breathtaking experience. This beach house is truly a marvel; the facilities and the atmosphere was incredibly relaxing and tranquil. The sunset from the deck was one for the memory books! The views from various parts of the house are simply breathtaking. We particularly enjoyed the fresh food that Chef William prepared for us. The butternut soup was the best I have ever had, and every meal he prepared was made with a lot of love, passion for food and attention to detail. It was truly a refreshing and rejuvenating break. A special shout-out to Alick, Kahlua, and Chef William for making our stay so memorable.

Marvel House is an incredible opportunity to experience a signature Atlantic Seaboard property. It will not disappoint. An absolute delight.

I had an amazing experience at this hotel. The staff were absolutely fantastic – incredibly kind, attentive, and always available whenever I needed anything. They truly made me feel well taken care of from the moment I arrived. 😍 The breakfast was delicious, with a great variety of fresh options each morning. One of the highlights was how peaceful everything felt – there weren’t many other guests, so I had plenty of space to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The view was simply breathtaking, and the possibility of taking long walks along the beach made the stay even more special. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and warm getaway.

The hotel is located in a very quiet area of Houtbay with a spectacular view. What made the stay oustanding was the team that took care of me and my family. I have travelled all over the world but very seldom have I met people that really made us so welcome and converted this holiday in one of the best experiences ever. Thanks guys!
