I stayed here for one night on 25 September. The curtain rail fell down and woke me up just after 3.00am and I could not get back to sleep. I reported this just before breakfast at 7.30am. I felt it would bother more guests if I started opening and closing doors at 3.00am. I have been told that I should have reported it at the time. So apparently premier inn would rather you disturb guests at 3.00am rather than wait a suitable time. Then at 8.15 while I was on a Teams meeting in my room significant noise from drilling nearby could be heard. I had to stop my meeting. After discussing it with Premier inn customer service, they advised that they are allowed to start work after 8.00. They neglected to say about their responsibility to statutory nuisance. After speaking to their customer service and promises of call backs they now will no longer discuss. I will obviously be taking it further, but it's disappointing to see a lack of empathy and common sense from Premier Inn. I had also stayed in two separate premier inns the two previous days which again had poor service and was reported. I normally stay in Premier Inn and all of my employees/colleagues also. I think this will change in the future unfortunately.

Took the meal deal - wish I hadn’t. Paid for parking - got a parking ticket. Checking in - mistakes were made. Most of the restaurant staff were lovely but there’s always one that’s not. Very clean room, comfy bed. Window wouldn’t open so it was stuffy.
