芒特福德飯店(The Mountford Hotel)

Ótimo hotel, voltaria sem sombra de dúvidas! Roupa de cama branca, nova e limpa. O café da manhã poderia ser um pouco mais caprichado e com toalhas nas mesas, que são de granito escuro, mas embora simples é de qualidade tudo o que serviu. O menor do hotel é a localização fantástica!!! Tem o tô de ônibus bem na frente do hotel onde se pode ir para a cidade toda com facilidade. O hotel também fica perto da Penny Lane e da strawberry Street, as ruas onde ficam as casas dos Beatles e ainda do ladinho do Sefton Park, lugar lindíssimo para caminhar e chegar até a Lark Lane, rua onde tem vários restaurantes.

They take a £50 deposit that takes 30 days to return to your account. For me that says a lot. Especially when the towel holder, shelf above the sink and the blind, all came off the wall during the very short period that we stayed there. The hotel agreed that it had nothing to do with us - but one should not have to go finding staff and explaining oneself to those staff for fear of being charged £50 for something that is not your fault. Other than that, the continental breakfast was not great, and the hotel looks very tired and run down.

Service was brilliant at check in, room was good and very clean although I doubt beds are king size. Parking was a bonus. Breakfast was basic but a snack to put us on. Very near Larks Lane, walking distance with lots of lovely bars and restaurants.

Comfortable room. Good welcome and happy to re-allocate to one better suited to our needs. But don’t expect your bed to be made each day- they expect you to do it. Breakfast is a cold “continental “ but limited quality. And you are expected to clear your own table. Yet the breakfast staff we met were helpful and friendly. Bar wine price was good.

Well i was absolutely freezing in the hotel and the room ( not impressed) i did ask fir a heater n he said there all gone but he could offer me a quilt. I had a shower and the water trickled out of the showe head and it was luck warm Then the next day no hot water came out of the taps on the sink to have a wash. We didnt sleep very well as it was windy outside and the window kept banging. Over hall not very impressed. But the hotel its self was gorgeous

Very clean and comfortable. Staff were great although the receptionist had to double up as bar staff and housemaid at times which meant waiting a bit longer. Definitely would stay again. Buses into Liverpool straight outside the hotel door. Recommended stsy.

The hotel listed free parking. The carpark was small and full so we had to park on the roadside. The room did not have air conditioning and the window did not open. There was no fridge. It was probably the hottest night of the year. The bed was awful and we asked a number of times for an extra pillow. None came. On arrival we were stung by an additional £50 deposit. Breakfast was poor and a notice explained that the breakfast was lacking some items due to ‘unavailability’. All in all , a terrible experience.

From walking through the front door it went down hill too many issues to complain about to leaving the nightmare

Staff were very friendly and helpful, unfortunately the breakfast was continental,with slices of ham,tomatoes,yoghurt,bread etc
