This was possibly the worst hotel experience I've ever had -- and I've stayed at hundreds of hotels across the United States. The room we booked (through a third party, Trip.com) was advertised as a King, non-smoking, with free breakfast. The first room we were given smelled so strongly of mold and mildew that I couldn't even enter it; the next room (while labeled as "non-smoking") reeked of tobacco smoke. It was getting late -- and we didn't want to trouble the front-desk staff -- so we took the tobacco room. We opened the window, but the screen was missing. We crawled outside to retrieve the screen, but it had large holes in it. We opted to tough it out with the tobacco stench rather than opening ourselves up to bugs, so kept the window closed. Later we realized that the stench of the bed sheets was even worse, so slept very little that night. As for the bathroom, we cleaned it ourselves. We wiped it down with anti-bacterial wipes, as there were dried-up urine stains on the toilet lid, green (soap??) scum in the bathtub, oily residue on the floor, dirt in every corner, and bugs in the shower curtain. There was no breakfast; there was not even coffee ("due to COVID," that is, profit maximization). I had to beg the front-desk staff for a blow dryer and iron. She claimed that, "due to COVID, lots of guests had stolen or broken" blow dryers and irons, and "we couldn't get shipments" of new ones. I mentioned that we didn't have hangers in the closet -- or even closet rods to hang the hangers on -- and she merely rolled her eyes and blamed it on the guests. How can Wyndham even, in good conscience, have its name on such a place? I’ve written to Wyndham, but of course, have received no resolution yet. If Trip.com can do anything on our behalf, we would be most grateful.

Dirty, room not cleaned old food from previous guests. Rooms missing items and the property does not have extras. 1 towel for a double room. Waste of money and points. Entire hotel smelled of stale cigarettes and ****. Tons of noise all night

One of the worst hotels I have been to. The room was dirty, stank of cigarettes, had multiple holes in the walls and doors, and had a hard, uncomfortable bed. I had to rinse the shower before using it. It hadn’t been deep cleaned (ever?), or vacuumed. We got pulled over by a cop who saw us leave the parking lot, and when he realized he had no reason to pull us over, he asked if we were staying at the hotel and told us to “lock our doors, it’s a sketchy place”.

Upon arrival the Now Open banner was explained by it should have been removed a while back & there had been a flood but all rooms had been redone🤣🤣🤣(yeah, I don’t think so!). The whole inside of the property had a pervasive skunk **** odor in the hallways. The first room we were put in had no safety latch( it was obvious it had been pried off) When I asked to move to a room with a safety latch I was initially told since I had been in the first room already it would be a sanitary issue since I guess our presence would have contaminated the first room ( trust me there was no sterilization procedures in place here and I had Lysol wiped all light switches, remotes, levers, handles before realizing the latch was missing so I was leaving the room better than I had found it!& she also said she couldn’t guarantee a room with a safety latch 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️ After being insistent about it for some time they finally found us another room. This one was on the 3rd floor. It had a safety latch & we had just driven through 4 states & we were tired so we stayed. BUT this second room REEKED ( asked front desk4lysol spray or febreze — said hotel had none) of cigarette smoke. Ironic considering sign in the bathroom NONSMOKING ROOM. Tell that to the person who left burns near the tub and all over the comforters along with the ash smudges so that the beds were made with the comforters inside out to hide that🤢😡The tub never stopped leaking / running in spite being completely in the off position &same as the first floor—- when looking out the window—garbage& plastic garbage bags hanging from tree branches, strewn all over the ground, taking up space all the way down to the embankment below. When we saw housekeeping in the hallway&mentioned these things we were told that the condition of this room prior to our arrival had already been duly noted : the cigarette burns, stench of the room, dripping tub etc. The housekeeping staff were extremely cordial though. I even noticed quite a few rooms on the 3rd floor looked like the doors had been pried open with something in the past ( hopefully the inhabitants had their safety latches in place at the time! We checked out when we were supposed to even though my daughter had checked out of her hotel and found her flight had been cancelled so we could have attempted to get room(s) here for an extra day but found somewhere clean &safe instead. This hotel might be economical but I personally felt that is all it had going for it

The room look like it had a few upgrades. All but the bed and maybe the pillows. Very clean. Customer service in the evening when we checked in couldn’t tell me what the $50 deposit was for. Just that that’s what they do. The girl in the morning as we checked out was very amenable.

The guy at the front desk was rude and uninterested. We got to the room and the key unlocked the door, but the door wouldn't open. While my husband went back to the front desk, two more people on the floor had to kick or shove their doors open. It took us 4 tries to get in the room. Maybe we should have stayed in the hall, because the room was awful. The "mobility accessible" room barely allowed my wheelchair to pass. When I entered the bathroom in my wheelchair, there was no room to close the bathroom door, it was that small. The sink didn't drain. The bathtub was dirty. The walls were dirty. There was a weird odor in the halls and the room. People were fighting and screaming in the hallway, hitting the walls and our door. The hotel staff called the police, it was that bad. There was another screaming match at 3 AM, and another call to the police. They are probably on speed dial. The ice machines weren't on each floor, you had to go back to the lobby. There was supposed to be a hair dryer in the room, but there wasn't. There wasn't even an alarm clock. The entire experience was just awful.
