It’s been a long time since I was last in a youth hostel, and as a now 45 year old man there is probably a reason for this. Arriving late on the Tuesday night with fond memories of dorm parties and tequila slammers, I was greeted by what I initially thought was captain Jack Sparrow, but who actually transpired to be a very friendly chap who helped us to navigate the intricacies of the main entrance. Door buzzed, suitcases lifted up the stairs and ugh who let mum and dad in looks absorbed, we were handed our keys by a lovely member of the team alongside vouchers for two free shots. Enthusiastically we were informed that the bar was open until 1am that night, although we had missed the pub crawl for the evening. I’m flattered I guess, however we decided to give the shots a miss in favour of a nice sleep. Yup, Father Time catches up with us all… We had a private double with a shared bathroom, and although very small it was comfortable enough. The pillow has perhaps seen better days, but the A/C was a life saver! Spending the days walking around town and doing some gentle exploring, the nights were largely spent for myself at least in the bar area downstairs. It’s a small but perfectly functional area, and in all honesty wasn’t the screaming mess of teenagers away from home for the first time that I had been expecting. At 3 euros a pint I was certainly very happy to sit and read whilst various cool young things did their thing in the background. Declining participation in the pub crawl for a second time, I was tempted with the tapas tasting but plans for the night changed due to friends arriving a day early and diner reservations being made. From a comfort point of view, our bathroom was shared between three double rooms I believe on the third floor, and this was never an issue. I attribute this to the fact that we were likely on very different schedules with us going out for the day and back for the night, as opposed to the perhaps more night based activities of our fellow residents. Bedroom like I said small, but hey, who cares, we weren’t here to sit in a room all day. The breakfast was absolutely fine, and for 5 euros a day you really cannot complain. All in all very happy with my stay, though peeking into an open dorm room one day my god I wouldn’t have survived the week unless you could take 25 years off me! Good job though overall Sant Jordi, and I’d certainly consider staying again - safe, friendly and somewhere I’m sure 20 year old me would have had a blast!

We received a confirmation of our booking for two rooms from 25.12.2022 to 01.01.2023. But one week before the departure date, we received an email informing us that our booking had been cancelled because the credit card payment failed. We were not given the opportunity to resolve the issue. Although we checked with the bank and confirmed that the credit card was working.

Estava tudo impecável. Encontramos tudo limpo e arrumado. A única situação a apontar foi no pequeno almoço, achei que poderia haver mais variedade, apenas tinha o básico. Por exemplo, fruta lâminada, ovos mexidos, frutos secos, variedade de queijos e compotas caseiras. Mas no geral gostei muito de ter ficado alojada neste hotel.

Adorei o quarto, pequeno mas bastante cómodo. Melhor cama onde já dormi num hotel. Wc muito moderna e prática. Estacionamento fácil. Localização fácil de encontrar.

We had a garden facing room which was really nice to sit on the balcony in the afternoon, the hotel was quite so May not suit every one. The hotel offered a shuttle bus to the beach and golf courses which were near by, the stand out of the hotel are without doubt is the breakfast, which was excellent, some work does need to be taken on the coffee machines as they simply cannot cope with the number of guests

通過 wowcher 交易在葡萄牙住了 5 晚。到達酒店時，它看起來非常乾淨，工作人員非常友好，但裝飾非常陳舊，而且通常很簡陋。電梯非常小而且非常陳舊。我們的房間 404 雖然安靜，因為它在後面，但每個人的門都不會安靜地關閉。房間本身非常乾淨，這要歸功於工作人員，但是太過時了，而且太小了。床非常不舒服。部分原因是你在歐洲大陸上會發現常見的硬床墊，還有底板下面的橡膠板。 . 不想在盛夏的時候去那裡。有空調，但並沒有真正幫助。沒有茶/咖啡設施，但有一個大小適中的冰箱。浴室可能是最糟糕的方面..再次乾淨..工作人員必須與如此陳舊的固定裝置和裝飾進行艱苦的鬥爭，他們應該為此受到讚揚。淋浴.. 或者是一個小浴缸？誰知道馬桶和洗臉盆也嚴重破裂，吹風機……我想我記得其中一個是 70 年代的……早餐是額外收費的，不幸的是我們付了錢。這絕對是可怕的。橙色南瓜和切碎的橙色放在罐子裡，試圖讓它看起來像真的。冷肉和奶酪的選擇很差。一碗可疑果醬和一個烤麵包機花了 10 分鐘才烤出微熱的麵包。工作人員再次友好和樂於助人，並為我們做了煎蛋捲。由於糟糕的床墊度過了 2 個不眠之夜。我的背部有問題，我們決定預訂拐角處的快捷假日酒店。好多了，如果我們第一次來葡萄牙的話，我們會很享受休息。火烈鳥酒店的老闆顯然不想花太多錢來更新這個地方和提高他的價格，我相信很多人都住在那裡並且覺得它還不錯，但我只是找不到推薦它的方式，除了辛勤工作的清潔人員。
