As close to staying in the castle as you can get! This amazing hotel is a former wing of the actual castle! The staff were lovely and very helpful, the breakfast and the lounge area/treats were awesome, and it's in a great spot! Expect to walk if you stay here, it's easy enough to get to but all up hill. We loved the location and history here

Let me just start off by saying that this was a truly special stay. Staff absolutely wonderful, property is spectacular and it's truly a romantic type of vibe - besides, how often do you get to say you stayed in a castle or that you got to eat breakfast with Peacocks? That being said, please be advised that the property is all the way on the top of the castle grounds and is not accessible by uber. If you want to walk, get ready to get your steps in - 'it's all uphill from here' became our tag line when we were returning to the hotel each night after dinner or drinks. I would not recommend this property to anyone requiring special disability services unless you plan to take an official taxi every time you need to leave or return to the property. Staff will happily help you with ordering a cab but it does add up. All in all, we would definitely stay there again - it's really got that special something and all of the staff were truly wonderful. 10/10 for being such a unique experience and truly living up to it's expectations!

Property was great. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Only issue I had was I never got any email about the transport they do is to the hotel from the train station or airport. So on our last day found out that we had to pay to get to the airport. Other than that hotel and staff was great.

Hotel was amazing! Very cool to be on the castle grounds, conveniently located, beautiful property with excellent amenities. Super peaceful property, highly recommend for your stay in Lisbon.

Lovely homely hotel in the old town at the top of the hill by the castle. Wonderful breakfast choices, staff really helpful with anything. We borrowed umbrellas, playing cards. Loved the complimentary cakes and bubbles, this was a lovely thing to do. If we come back to Lisbon, we will definitely stay here. We has room 21 which has good views of teh peacocks and sea!
