Really great experience staying here. Staff were so attentive and assisted me whenever I needed it. The rooftop area has a gorgeous view, and the yellow room is a tranquil place to also work/read. I've been to over 40 countries and stayed in hundreds of hotels - Verride is def in my top ten global and I will be staying here again in the future.

el lugar es sencillamente perfecto. al llegar Adilson nos ofreció un recorrido por las instalaciones del Hotel. nos contagió con su pasión por cada una de las historias que hay detrás del Palacio. luego, en el Spa, Anabella y Adriana en Pure Spa Signature de Verride nos ofrecieron (sin exagerar) el mejor masaje de nuestra vida. sin duda, una referencia. llegar a este Hotel es no querer salir de él.

I stayed overnight on a Hilton Free Nights Award and there is little doubt in my mind that this was the best hotel stay I have ever had. I didn't want to leave the hotel for a minute. When we arrived, we received a tour of the premises, including the rooftop bar, the outdoor pool and the beautiful common areas. When we got to our room, we were knocked out by the view, the bed, and the complimentary baked goods, champagne and beverages. We were also told that we were entitled to a complimentary 15 minute massage, which my wife and I had scheduled for later that afternoon. I immediately said to my wife "this might be the best place I've ever stayed out" and she corrected me, saying "it definitely is." The massage was unbelievably good. My wife paid to extend it and received a very, very good massage for way less than it should have cost. While she was gone, the hotel sent a small birthday cake to our room (quick note: make sure to complete the ore-arrival questionnaire the hotel sends a day or two before arrival to inform it of any special occasions worth celebrating). I also toured the rooftop bar and saw a great view of the city from the 2nd highest vantage point in the city. We spent an hour at the rooftop pool, which was small but luxurious. The hotel's main restaurant was closed the night we visited, but the hotel's secondary restaurant was open and delicious. We slept very, very well on a large bed that may have been king-sized plus. The next morning we were treated to a five-course breakfast which included fresh-squeezed juice, cappuccino, charcuterie, breakfast breads, yogurt with fruit, an egg dish and a dessert pancake. Again, everything was excellent! I have read some of the more tepid reviews and cannot stress enough that our experience was amazing. Maybe your mileage may vary, and maybe some of your experience depends on your room (ours was 6.2 and is highly recommended), but I cannot imagine a better hotel stay!

The hotel was very nice and staff were very friendly! Couple of things need improving/changing. First, the uber or boltz driver cannot drop passengers off by the hotel. It’s a restricted area! It would have been nice to know in advance so we did not have to walk with our bags. Second, the rooftop was closed to an event which was very disappointing and on top of that there was so much noise as the event ended as if we were in a night club! Last, the bathroom is designed poorly. Eventhough it was new, clean, and nice the water went everywhere as you shower! Overall nice service and very luxary hotel. I would rate the convenience 4 star and not 5

Charming hotel in a very convenient location with beautiful views. The breakfast, which was included, was the star of our stay. The food, made to order, was meticulously prepared and absolutely delicious. Each day there was a hot dish suggestion, along with a tower of homemade pastries, fresh juices and smoothies. You can also request anything you like, if the suggested menu doesn't suit you. I'm not usually much of a breakfast eater, but this breakfast was worth every bite! The views from the rooftop bar are amazing and perfect for sunset. They serve fantastic drinks and food there as well and service was prompt and friendly. Our room was very clean with the softest, most luxurious sheets I've ever slept on. Little culinary delights were regularly left in our room to surprise us. Aesop brand amenities were supplied, along with thick fuzzy slippers and robes - every amenity was top notch. The soundproofing wasn't apparent in our room - we could hear another guest shutting their door over and over, but the comfy bed helped us return to sleep. The bathroom had a high pressure shower and was beautiful, if small, but there were plenty of surfaces for toiletries, so we managed just fine. We couldn't find any climate controls in our room and it the beginning of each night was warm for sleeping, but overall the comfort, charm, friendly & helpful service, and pampering made for a very enjoyable stay. The Chiado neighborhood was quiet and we found ourselves walking over to Baixa for meals and entertainment, but I think Baixa would be loud for sleeping and we really enjoyed the walks to and from Verride Palace.
