We enjoyed our stay here very much with one exception I will address at the end of the review. The room was adequate and comfortable. The bar was empty when we went in and a gentleman with a beard greeted us. I think he may have been the manager I never did get his name. He was very friendly and actually brought our food out to us later at dinner. The bartender Svetozar Hristov was the real star of the show here! He made excellent cocktails! For dinner we ordered the asparagus soup which had a ravioli in it? I thought this was odd and was just about to bite into it when my husband stopped me and said don't! It had fish in it! Sure enough when we asked Svetozar about it he confirmed the ravioli had fish in it. I am VERY allergic to fish! I don't recall if it was on the menu but I don't think so as I would have not picked that for an appetizer. They remade the soup just for me! And it was AMAZING! There were also pieces of sardines in the ceasar and they made me one without them. One of the best salads I have ever had! Svetozar pointed out to me that there were fish in the salad. The service from the staff at this restaurant was exceptional! Thanks to Svetozar and the bearded gentleman they made it a very memorable dining experience. Afterwards we went for a walk along the banks of the Danube very relaxing. This is the only part of the whole hotel experience that really rubbed me the wrong way. So we went down for breakfast and the lady behind the counter asked for our room number. She then informed us we needed to go down and "pre-pay" for the breakfast. Wait, what? If I am going down to the front desk it will be to leave! We went upstairs grabbed out stuff and left and had breakfast in town, probly cheaper anyway. This part of the stay was NOT convenient and really annoying! We would have gladly paid at the restaurant or at checkout. An extra step just to eat seemed unwarranted and really aggravating! I think this should be changed! Thanks for the rest!

Insgesamt ein sehr gutes Hotel mit freundlichem Personal und sehr guter Lage. Man wohnt direkt an der Donaupromenade, man kann zu Fuß in die Stadt gehen, liegt aber auch gut erreichbar direkt an der Autobahn. Und für meine Zwecke war es ideal, da der Marathonstart direkt vor der Haustüre war. Zimmer war für mich ausreichend groß und Sauberkeit war top. Zum Essen kann ich nichts sagen, hatte ohne Frühstück gebucht. Verbesserungspotential: -Kosten fürs Parken (16€) fand ich bisschen viel für Linz. -am Marathonwochenende würde ich die Möglichkeit eines Late-check-outs erwarten (natürlich gegen Aufpreis, aber man konnte es mir bei der Buchung nicht garantieren) und da ich nicht nur vielleicht nach dem Marathon duschen wollte, habe ich 2 Nächte gebucht, was dann doch etwas teuer (198€ inkl Parken) für 27h war.

Personal war super freundlich, Frühstück und Abendessen sehr gut. Zimmer war auch top, sauber, angenehm ... alles gut. Das einzige was gefehlt hat war ein USB Anschluss im Zimmer zum Handy aufladen ... aber das Personal konnte mir im Restaurant aushelfen.

Service, Personal, Essen und Getränke im Restaurant sowie an der Bar alles bestens. Lage super, für Stadt-Ausflug problemlos in kurzer Zeit zu Fuss zu erreichen. Betten und Matratzen perfekt. Sauberkeit in allen Belangen sehr gut. Frühstück ist in sehr guter Qualität zum größten Teil mit regionalen Produkten bestückt. Das einzige was mir fehlte war ein Toaster. Ich hätte aber sicher einen bekommen wenn ich gefragt hätte, war mir aber in diesem Moment nicht wichtig weil alles andere an frischem Brot verfügbar war.

Weiter Blick über die Donau von hochgelegenem Zimmer, bei geschlossenen Fenstern ganz ruhig, ansonsten mäßige Geräuschkulisse durch den Verkehr jenseits der Donau, Parkplatz in der Garage kostet extra, aber keine Parkplätze in der Nähe, Innenstadt nicht fußläufig erreichbar, also wieder Parkgarage in Innenstadt bei angespannter Parkplatzsituation anzufahren, Zimmer nicht luxuriös, aber sehr ordentlich, Raumlüftung, Matratzen überraschend hart, freundliches Personal, übliches Frühstückbuffet.

Underwhelmed. River view is beautiful, rooms are clean and modern. Beds are comfort. And the staff are very friendly and helpful. BUT the hotel is only good if you are here for work and don't plan to stay in the room to rest. Otherwise, expect to hear every single noise the people in the rooms above and next to you, and in the hallways, make. Everything housekeeping did, all their conversations, and all their door slamming and furniture moves, could be heard in the morning. So you can forget sleeping in. And forget keeping your windows open for fresh air during the day. There's constant construction noise ruining the beautiful Danube river view. And at night, you'll be kept awake because people stay out drinking and talking loudly in the courtyard till late hours into the night. Apparently the hotel does not ask them to mind the noise pollution so people in their rooms are not awakened.
