Go explore the tide pools or go beachcombing for seashells and agates. Or take in some amazing storm watching, depending on the weather. Both the sea wall and the whale observation deck in nearby Depoe Bay offer spectacular views! You might even be surprised by the sight of a whale passing through any time of year! We are easy to find with Hwy 101 a mile and a half away, and there is ample room for parking. Walk along Main Street where you can find local stores of antiques, books, and restaurants including Grand Central Pizza, Fresh Family Mexican Restaurant (our favorite), China Restaurant, Subway, and Alsea Bay Crab Co. Grab groceries from Ray's grocery store or at the Bayshore convenience store. Waldport has a fun 9-hole golf course that welcomes all levels of play. Nearby Yachats (10 minute drive) boasts Luna Sea Fish House (another favorite), Yachats Brewing, and Adobe Restaurant and Lounge (known for their brunch buffets).
