Sparkling clean. Not just spotless, but gleaming chrome fixtures. Even the caulk in the bathroom was perfect. Everything about the place says the owners care. So skip the fancy new chain hotels and give this place a try. The restaurant across the street was great, too. I grew up in Colorado, and like many visitors I focus on those mountains. They only occupy half the state, though. Give that prairie a look! HUGE vistas, antelope, birds, gorgeous rock outcroppings and pine trees. Skip the interstate too. The route from Limon to Castle Rock is stunning. At Kiowa’s water tower, on a clear day you can see everything from Pikes Peak to the Medicine Bow range in one sweeping panorama.

Tiny bathroom, no tub. Breakfast was skimpy, and they charged a fee for my wife. Room service opened the door in the morning without knocking.

Front desk night manager was accommodating beyond the call of duty of a very tired traveler clueless about backing up a trailer. Helped me park my rental truck and came out again when I couldn’t unlock my room. At 11:00 PM. Without complaint. Room was simple but spotless. Thanks.

Its clean n not bad inside it is an old place so keeping that in mind very good for what it is. A good little simple place to stay

This appears to be a facility built in the 50s but impeccably maintained. Our room was in virtually like-new condition - a credit to their housekeeping staff, the craftsmen who have completed updates, and the management. Would go out of my way to stay there again.

It’s an older motel, but everything is clean and well-maintained. Landscaping excellent. The owners are very very nice people. Highly recommend.
