梅特羅波爾飯店(Metropole Hotel)

Trip was nice, everyone was friendly

Le personnel de cet hôtel est très attentionné. On a pu laisser nos bagages à la réception le matin, avant que la chambre soit prête. On nous a upgradés dans une chambre où il y avait moins de bruit (présence d'un groupe de jeunes juste à côté), sans qu'on le demande.

An old traditional hotel which needs a few repairs and could do more for the environment such as having refillable shampoo containers instead of single use ones. It is located close the restaurants (6 min walk) and breakfast is provided by the attached café. Some rooms have a street view and others an internal wall but ventilated and it is not possible to choose when booking. No lift. Good value when compared to the hotel next door.

Me and my boyfriend Nizar had a reservation at this hotel for 2 nights (room 6), we checked out today 30 April at 10:15 in the morning. I forgot in the room a bag with some dresses. I called the hotel on 1st may to ask to speak with the person in charge of cleaning and they said me that the person in charge of cleaning thrown them in the trash. It can't be true and even if it was it's unacceptable, there were clean clothes. I'm really disappointed.

Well no water in pipes so toilet won’t flush. Had hot water so had to put shower head in toilet tank to fill it up. Rather grumpy old man to check you in. Good location. Ants in the room. Hardest beds in the universe. I don’t think I would stay here again. Breakfast café is excellent

This hotel doesn't deserve the rating that it has. The bad was very uncomfortable. Quite not clean. No elevator, if you have a bag, you will have to climb up quite stairs. No safe box. Breakast is not included. The keys - you always leave them at the reception. I do understand that this hotel was one of the cheapest options in Limassol. But I've stayed in many hotels in Cyprus. Exactly at the same price range, and i always got so much more than this. Normally, I book places on ********** with 8+ guest raiting. But this one doesn't deserve it at all. Nothing really extreme about this place, but somehow the energy and overall aftertaste. I didn't like it. And wouldn't rate it so high.

Friendly and informed staff. Always happy to offer directions and assistance.

A good stay. It was very cold and the heater could not warm up the room. But staff provided good varm blankets and we were fine.

We was staing only one night.The hotel is in an old building and you not expect much comfort.The location are great.We was bitten in the night by something ,in toilet eria was cockroaches and bedding was not clean.Not recomended.
