Had a wonderful stay at Thistledown for an engagement party. We booked several rooms, they were clean and had great bathrooms. Our room overlooked Main Street. The coffee bar was great, and loved the bakery and winery downstairs! Excellen stay, we will be back. Definitely the best place to stay in Ligonier!

We had a fabulous stay at the Thistledown. We were in LIGONIER for an engagement party and many of us stayed there. The Thistledown is walking distance, on Main Street of LIGONIER. Adam, the owner, went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and accommodated us for our event. The room was super clean and plush- met all of our needs. There is even a fully stocked (around the clock) coffee station for the guests - life savor. We will definitely stay here again. We highly recommend Thistledown.

I highly recommend Thistledown at Seger House. The house and rooms are beautiful and squeaky clean. Our bathroom was large and well appointed with a beautiful stained glass window. Our room was large with a comfortable bed and seating, air conditioning, and a gas fireplace. The downstairs common areas are likewise comfortable and well designed. Adam, the owner, was easy to contact and graciously accommodated a special request. Ligonier is a fine little town and the Thistledown at Seger House is a gem.

We enjoyed our stay. I was disappointed that there was no staff to greet us. It’s basically just an Air B&B except there was no breakfast. However, you can’t beat the location and the town is walkable and affordable. Everyone we met was friendly and talkative.

The building is gorgeous and guests have access to a nice sitting room and a lovely porch/terrace. The instructions for check-in were a bit unclear, but someone was able to explain the process when we arrived. The room was large and comfortable, with choice of pillows (always appreciated) and climate control via a mini-split unit which was very responsive. The only downfall was that there was zero counter space in the bathroom for toiletries. And the tiny suction shelf in the shower had lost its suction so we couldn't keep anything there. It was fine for 2 nights but if we'd needed to stay longer we would have had to devise something. The positives definitely outweighed the one negative and I would both recommend it and stay again!

A charming and well appointed B&B style hotel in a perfect central location. The house is beautifully restored, was immaculately clean, and our room was set up with a wonderful welcome by the management (thank you!!!). Right outside our room door was a full coffee bar, much appreciated. On the ground floor is an excellent bakery for nibbles. Pamper yourself with a stay at the Sager House; it's lovely. Only one small inconvenience: the beds are really high and not easy to get into for vertically challenged people...

Really neat little place to stay. Each room had its own private bathroom, and there's a little station in the middle of the landing/hallway with a Keurig, some ice water, and some coffee cups and wine glasses available any time. Interesting history to the building too. Plus it's only two or three blocks to the the downtown traffic circle they call the Diamond. Absolutely would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Ligonier.
