Checking in I left my phone In the car, so I rang the bell and asked if my bags could be look after for a couple of minutes while I nipped back to the car I returned couple of mins later literally,there were 2 other parties checking in so had to wait to retrieve my bags back, maybe the staff member returned to the office where other members of the team were upon arrival.and the lady had disappeared leaving my bags unattended Dirty room, someone's personal hairs in the bath, toilet needs some bleach, discaler a good clean very dusty wire hanging down from the TV net curtain in the room back to front, not enough tea and coffee in room only put enough for a cup each and when your stay for one night, and you don't want to be messaging around going to fetch some more. Self serve check in on sad to say it's a shame though you have to ring a bell for attention this day in age..would have been nice for a friendly arrival greet and for someone to be there if you need help without having to ring for it. For £100 a night I would have expected better considering the hotel isn't that old ,have to say this is the worse I've ever been too, also the spare pillows didn't have a tab on like they normally do for cleanliness, they seemed clean but their garrentte sticker nowhere to be seen...

I grew up in Lichfiled, I come back to look after my mother. The hotel has air con, if it is hot I stay there. If not, I don't. Parking is an issue - you need to know the rules of the car parks else you could (and will!) get fined, the district council see it as a money earner. When my dad ran parking 30+ years ago, he was more flexible. Not now. The bed is too soft, but then I have a bad back. But, the thing that grinds my gears is they limit the internet speed. The BT main switchboard is over *there*, the other side of the multi-story carpark. The main switchboard for the whole geographic area. Go to a cafe anywhere in Lichfield (lots of great ones to choose) and buy a drink, free wifi is fast. In this place? They limit you badly. Ohhh, you can PAY for better but look at the room rate and how much a coffee is? I had better internet access 20 years ago over some old tech called ISDN. The dinosaurs used it. I only stay there if I need air con (the Wychnor up the A38 does not have it but BOY the internet is fast) or I want to get utterly raddled in town,

Hello to the miserable lady with the long straight hair, no customer skills at all looked down when she talked. We asked if we could have early check in and was told to come back at 1 o'clock and the room will be ready. We went back at 1 o'clock and was given a room with a dining room chair and a bed. We was charged £10 for the privilege. We whent to complain and was told the quad room you was promised is not ready and come back at 3 o'clock the booking as normal. We went back at 3 o'clock and was happy with the room. When we got home I noticed a £30 charge had been taken out of my bank, I rang the hotel and was told it was a mistake and will be refunded along with my £10 for early check in but only received £30. What a shambles. HOTEL CALIFORNIA.

We stayed here for my daughters wedding which was in Litchfield. The windows in the room didn't open at all and the air-conditioning went off and wouldn't come back on. The room was uncomfortably hot. The next morning we asked at reception for fresh bed sheets to remake the bed and was told they would change them for us. They did not do this and when mentioned to reception they couldn't have cared less. We booked the room for 3 nights however left a day early to go back home as we couldn't bare another night in a stifling hot room.

I stay at this hotel every year to visit family living near by and always have a good experience. This visit was for a 90th Birthday.. On the Sunday morning we were 10 of us for breakfast and on the late side but the lady working in the restaurant and the chef were absolutely amazing!! They made a big fuss of the Birthday girl and sang happy birthday to her as she walked in and then again later on. I cannot praise the two lady's enough, they really are beautiful human beings. Look forward to my next visit..

Faeces in the toilet bowl. Someone’s glasses left on the floor. Only one bath towel for two guests. Premier inn have gone downhill over recent years. It was shabby and tired and disappointingly filthy

Warm greeting. Room available for early check in. Iron supplied very promptly. Left my phone in a cab and receptionist was absolutely amazing. Instrumental in helping me getting it back. Can’t thank her enough. Breakfast was also great.

I’ve stayed at this Premier Inn many times before, unfortunately this time was not quite as good as usual! Staff were friendly, easy self check in, hotel was clean and room was great. Although very warm even with the air con on and window is not able to be opened. One of the pillows smelled awful and there was a big stain on the single bed sheet. Unfortunately there was a child in the room above who was left to run around from 5.30am so we were woken up way too early in the mornings!!

Great welcome and service from the Hospitality Team - in particular Shannon who was incredibly busy but made time for everyone. Breakfast was very good, evening meal and service was excellent.

Wonderful weekend, all the staff were amazing, helpful and friendly. Special mention for Chef Tracey who, along with all the others, worked nonstop to provide a delicious breakfast 👍

Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Room was spotless. Easy check in and check out. Delicious breakfast. Comfy beds. Great value for money for one night stay.

I stay at the Premier Inn in Lichfield quite a bit as it’s handy for the National Memorial Arboretum. It’s always clean and comfortable (the vast majority of Premier Inns are) but what sets this one apart is the fantastic customer service from the staff. They are always keen and friendly and do their absolute best to make sure I’m comfortable and content. I’m glad to stay here because I know it will always be good. Thank you to the team!

Family up from Cornwall and staying at Premier Inn in Lichfield. 10 of us joined them for breakfast on Sunday morning - the lady on the servery also the chef everyone feel more than welcome. Everyone’s request was met and she was so helpful - not a massive thing but she made the breakfast a treat - thank you.

On arriving you see a sign informing you to go around the roundabout for parking, this I did but was looking for the hotel car park to which there is none. The car park is a multi storey car park which has nothing to do with the hotel. (£2.50 for the night). Make sure you park on the lower floor from here it’s a short walk to the hotel. Reception is automated , rooms is what you expect from Premier inn. The bar and lounge /dining area is just to the right of the front door, drinks are from a fridge or vending machine. I only had the breakfast which I did enjoy but was late starting. Would I stay again, Yes, due to its location.
