Super clean, cosy room. Classic older style motel, but beds very comfortable and reception welcoming. Excellent Wifi connection. Near road but quiet at night, lovely countryside. Pub next door for excellent meal, great coffee at cafe walking distance next to local IGA. Would highly recommend.

We loved this pub from the moment we walked in ! Weary on our way back from a big day on the Prom, in need of some good pub grub. We were not disappointed ! The meals were generous in size and delicious in taste.. roast of the day with fresh local veg. The dining room and bar were both buzzing with families enjoying their local pub. No pokies and a warm, welcoming ambience. This pub ticked all the boxes.

Lovely old style motel with renovated rooms which are small but cosy. The surrounding gardens are nice and the bike trail is across the road. Right in town so walk to everything in the lovely little town. Friendly helpful new owners. Parking onsite

Great spot right in the town. Easy to walk to places. Room was clean and warm, bed was comfy; customer response was great! I made a comment about how mugs would be better than teacups, and not enough teabags. By the time we returned to our room, there were two mugs, full of tea bags and extra milk. Negative points: only small things, like my pillow was lumpy, inconvenient plug points - only first world problems!!

The people were nice and helpful. Simple rooms, but functional. However the room had a funny smell, the crockery and cutlery were dirty and the outside lights were on all night, which flooded though the top of the curtains, and made it difficult to sleep.

Had a lovely weekend at Meeniyan Motel. New owners are very welcoming, room very comfy and opened out onto spacious lawns and pretty garden. Right next to the pub and gorgeous main street shops and cafes. Didn’t have time for a bike ride on the rail trail this time but great to know the motel has bikes available for guests. Super relaxing place to stay!

This is a gem in the motel range. Clean, friendly, well- situated! We would be back next weekend if we could get tickets to the Afro- beat gig!

This is very much a budget motel and it provides exactly what a budget motel should - a bed, a shower and a cup of tea or coffee. The outdoors and indoors could both really use a bit of a spruce up if it wants to go for anything more than the most budget of markets, but it does it’s own thing just fine. Just don’t ask it to be an upmarket place when it clearly isn’t. And no, it’s not “cheap” but it does have a good location on the Main Street of Meeniyan with lots of great eateries nearby and plenty of art and the rail trail. For a one night “somewhere to sleep” it does the job just fine and the welcome was warm and helpful when we checked in.
