Great property as long as you don't confuse names First and foremost, this is NOT Tahiti Village Resort; this is Tahiti Resort. There is a 15 minute drive between the two properties. The names are too similar, thus my single star for communication. I arrived frustrated at this property after first tying to check in at Tahiti Village Resort. Staff here was understanding and polite, even to the point of offering to try to reserve rooms at Tahiti Village Resort but no rooms were available. With that said, staff here was friendly, responsive, rooms were clean, two pools with basketball hoops and balls are available, along with a small mini-golf course. We had two connecting rooms, one of which had a full sized refrigerator, stove/oven and washer/dryer, detergent included. There was a wind storm one of our days, causing palm tree pieces to drop on the pool area, a safety issue. The ice machine on our floor was inoperable; one floor up was fine. Having a full fridge let us mix drinks and bring them poolside in plastic cups. We warmed a tasty leftover dinner in the oven which worked great. Overall, enjoyed our time here.

Get Away It was nice, was disappointed I booked the wrong Tahiti Village, didn’t know there was 2 and I was really looking forward to the Lazy River. The room was really nice but the pools were a bit dirty. The shuttle was perfect, didn’t have to drive anywhere. All I. All, not a bad stay for the price.

This property should not be confused with Tahiti Village, they are not the same. This is a separate resort in a different location. I was not aware of that until we arrived. The location is pretty far from the *****. The pool appeared unkept and dirty despite there not being many people present. I arrived with my family during the week day, so there was less traffic. The customer service is poor. I was injured on the property and did not receive adequate assistance or even a proper check in from their manager or front desk. They had my check out dates wrong and deactivated my key card despite receiving the confirmation and proof, so after the hospital I had to get a new key card. Prior to that they kept calling and insisting that we check out on a specific day even though I told them, the correct dates. They even sent a security guard to our room, saying they couldn’t get a hold of me despite me speaking with someone at the front desk. It was a very disappointing experience.
