拉托爾圖加飯店(Hotel la Tortuga)

Hemos venido en Semana Santa y hemos tenido una experiencia muy mala. Las Villas que están pegadas al Hotel tienen música altísima constantemente y durante toda la noche por lo que es imposible dormir. (Tenemos vídeos grabados que lo corroboran y se los hicimos llegar a la gerente Lidia). La primera noche todos los huéspedes del hotel fuimos a quejarnos y nadie hizo nada al respecto. Además, es el único hotel que hace pagar antes de la llegada de todos en los que estuvimos y luego entendimos el por qué. Por otro lado, el grifo de la ducha se rompió al segundo día de nuestra estancia. No tuvimos ningún tipo de compensación ni detalle por parte del hotel. Si bien es cierto que el hotel es bonito, el desastre de gestión y una atención al cliente tan pésima hizo que nuestra experiencia fuera horrible. Hay muchos hoteles en la República Dominicana y a este no se lo recomendaría a nadie.

Je confirme un commentaire précédent ! Nous nous sommes fait voler 16 000 pesos soit environ 250 € par février 2024 lors de notre séjour dans cet hôtel ! Forcément la femme de ménage ! La direction n’a rien voulu savoir et aucun dédommagement ! Scandaleux ! À éviter !

The perfect marriage proposal started on October when we first visited Hotel Las Tortugas in Las Terrenas, we were so pleased that we decided to come back one month later to celebrate my friend’s early birthday and for my surprise the proposal to get married with my better half, the love of my live. This second time we arrived on a rainy Friday November 10th when I was celebrating 4 years with my now fiancée. He and my sister in law orchestrated the perfect venue for the proposition whit all the help from Lidia (the manager), she’s an angel! My night was so perfect, thoughtful and lovely that my tears come out just for remembering… The hotel offers breakfast, two-story rooms with beds for 5 people, complementary drinks, and more. The gardens, pools and areas are well cared and the staff is super kind. I don’t have words to thank Lidia enough! She even wrote me on Sunday night just to check if we all were safe at home. We will be back soon!

Nous avons été victime de vol par la femme de chambre d’une liasse entière de billets, environ 250 €. Après de nombreux échanges avec la direction, aucun geste n’a été fait et nous avons fait appel à la police. Expérience dénoncée aussi sur d’autres sites.

Amazing oasis among walled-off private condos. A tranquil tropical garden around the pool, Latin music in a low volume lounge mode, and really unique artsy design of the 2-level rooms. Reviews complain about a walk to the town center in between concrete fended - yes, but that is a true Dominican experience as opposed to the artificial world of all-inclusive resorts. We like to combine both worlds on a single trip. Personnel is very courteous and welcoming. If you like latin dancing (salsa / bachata) and good cocktails, I recommend Mosquito bar - the very first venue you encounter when you walk. (Can also park nearby). It gets lively closer to midnight, with really good dancers. A little further along the shore the beach club restaurant is nice, and an ice-cream shop behind it

Excelente atención, hermosa habitación y jardín con delicados detalles de muy buen gusto. Muy bueno el desayuno con una atención personalizada. Se dan clases de yoga. Se puede ir caminando a las playas y también a los mejores restaurantes

First with the good: The grounds were beautiful as was the pool. The staff were kind and respectful however English was not easily understood. The bed was comfortable and the outside sitting area was lovely and quiet. The negatives: The shower head in unit2 had no pressure, the bracket holding the shower head was broken. Lots of ambient light at night making it challenging to sleep. The distance to the beach was more like 450m through a concrete walled laneway. Breakfast was small and plain but nicely served. Drinking water was not provided on a daily basis which should have been without an additional fee.

Warm and friendly staff. Good breakfast. Lovely pool. The hotel pics do not do justice to the garden or setting. 400 meter walk to the best beach around as it is wide and you can escape the terrible traffic noise from quads, motorbikes, mopeds, blowing engines. It is in a good quiet area too, so tranquil. I think our room is in the process of an update as the floor looked very worn and dirty, but was not…..It is just in need of a good paint like the rest of the bathroom. Mini bar, snacks and meals available. Good value for families too as there were 3 single beds up in the open area upstairs of the studio. Very decent and caring staff. They were all charming.
