Together with friends I visited the restaurant of Støtvig Hotel some days ago. The expectations were high. It was an extremely noisy experience. Normally, you expect that it is possible to have a quiet and pleasant conversation with your friends over a good meal when you visit a dinner restaurant. That was not the case here. Two groups, each with 15-20 persons made it quite impossible to have a decent conversation. Add to that, quite ordinary and heavy food and staff that appeared professional and slick without the friendliness and warmth that gives you good memories, this was an evening easily forgotten

Støtvig Hotel is a beautiful seaside resort. Next to the hotel is a hidden gem, VILLA STØTVIG. An amazing six bedroom luxury villa, modern architecture, excellent quality and finishing. Heated swimming pool, direct beach access and every convenience one can want. Over an beyond the quality of the villa; the STAFF. Karoline and Augusto with their teams deliver service on another level. Far beyond what we have ever experienced in Norway. Gourmet food and a spectacular wine cellar complement the 'yes can do' attitude of everyone at Villa Støtvig. We celebrated a special birthday at Villa Støtvig and we can sum up the experience in one word: AMAZING!
