Aquamare Beach Camp Resort

this is a hidden food hub in larena. it's wazeable, though. we were craving for seafoods for dinner so we devoured chilly buttered shrimps, grilled squid, tuna panga (jaw) and two platters of scallops. we were not talking for 15 minutes as we concentrate on eating. we were not actually that hungry but we realized we were when we ordered for more salad and the local noodles. boy, we got really full. the ambiance in this restaurant is so relaxing i think i'm gonna go back if given another chance. i have yet to see its full splendor in broad daylight.

Great facilities- shower was really good, hot and cold setting. Bed was comfy, nice clean/well decorated room. Staff were lovely and helped us with everything we needed. Always there as well.The location is very nice. It's on the walkway along Bulabog beach. Not too far from a choice of restaurants and transportation to other parts of Boracay. Management is very friendly, they do offer food but I didn't eat there so I can't comment on its quality. The wifi works well, there's a great balcony attached to the room, the CR is large, water is warm. Lots of cabinet space for clothes. King bed is very comfortable. They offer a heating kettle, with two cups but no coffee for the morning. The soap and shampoo is not always replenished. There was no complimentary water, even the least expensive hotels offer complimentary water and it's a long walk to the nearest store before one could buy water.

When deciding to visit Siquijor I chose to take on the Glamping experience offered by Aquamare Beach Camp Resort. Located in Larena, one of the 6 municipalities of Siquijor, it is a 25 minute ride from the port of Siquijor. The glamping tent is air-conditioned and set up like a hotel room. Each tent is assigned its own toilet and bath outside, just a few feet away from where the tents are located. The tents are nicely spaced in the grounds, not crowding each other. Amenities such as towels and toiletries were provided and these were already placed inside the toilet/bathroom. Glamping makes one feel close to nature with the modern amenities of hotel living - a comfortable bed, air-conditioning in hot or humid tropical weather, hot showers, nice towels! The resort has very good Wi-Fi so it is a good place for Work From Anywhere or if you wish to stay connected - who wants to go off the grid these days?!?! The resort has a well maintained swimming pool with lounging areas. Aquamare has a very nice beachfront which allows you a nice long walk along the water and it has a very beautiful view of Cebu Strait where you get to see the silhouettes of the islands of Negros and Cebu! The beachfront has a restaurant with a reasonably priced, varied menu. The staff are friendly and hotel management just re-opened after closing as a result of the pandemic. The resort is relatively new and I hope they maintain it because it is a very nice place to stay in.

Best gem and discovery in Siquijor. Service was phenomenal and the food was just outstanding. It felt like having the whole place to ourselves. It was a uniqe glamping experience. They made sure that our needs were attended to. The heated pool was a nice touch. The rooms were polished, the sheets were a dream to sleep in, the quietness of the place made the stay all the more restful. Nothing swanky but definitely a go-to place next time I visit. I'd like to mention Grace and their waiting staff, they were always gracious to every request we had. Btw, their meals come in big servings so make sure you dont overdo it. Just some cons, their Filipino breakfast spread comes in small portions so I discourage you guys getting it. Best to go with their other options instead. I think the place would be nice for parties given the whole vibe of the place so they should host foam or rave events just to keep it slamming. I got to meet their owner also who would always flash his beaming smile and open to suggestions!
