Staff does not exist, everything is by phone, check in getting your key from a key box, check out letting the key on a key box. No humans around, nor reception, nothing. Rooms are very standard with two big disappointing issues: first, not elevator so stairs; second, rooms on the second floor, as the one we occupied, have an unbearable hot temperature and no air conditionning. WIthout exageration, with 20º centigrades outdoors, temperature in the room was not lower than 30º in mid June, and only a small table fan to go on. Really unacceptable. If you are thinking in going on summer, just discard the idea of staying here.

A wonderfully located hotel that is equidistant from the centre of the town to the train station. I stayed here for one night but was working in the area over two days. Marta has been incredibly helpful throughout this stay. I was able to get early access to my room so I could drop off my bag before heading off to work, despite this being ahead of check in time, and also she was able to arrange a late check out for me as I did not need to be on site until the late afternoon the following day, thus providing me with somewhere to stay until I had to leave for work. They also looked after my bags to save me travelling into work with them. I really can't fault the efforts of the staff. The room is clean and well laid out. It faces onto a relatively busy road but the windows provide sufficient soundproofing that it is not a problem. The blinds in the room whilst decoratively nice, do let light in, in the morning, but I had an eyemask so this was not an issue. Would stay again if ever back in Lancaster.

Such a shame that you can no longer stay here for one night on the weekend! Management have decided a minimum 2 night stay is required. We were going to book an overnight stay here so we could visit our daughter in uni but not possible. Some people live too far to travel on a Friday night and work on a Monday!

stayed in one of the apartments place was spotless and has everything you need great location near train station -castle restraunts and bars, staff we seen were very helpful and polite are planning on booking again
