2 night stopover Room was cosy and clean. Nice comfortable bed/pillows. Didnt realise that the pub shuts at 10pm. Breakfast pricing could be clearer as selected off menu and then charged set price of £13 ?

The staff here are incredible, so friendly and helpful. We stayed for a nearby wedding and they gave us an iron and iron board and taxi recommendations. The food also tasted amazing and was great quality, the menu isn't large but they do regularly change their specials. The room itself was nice, it was quite small but to be expected for such an old property, the bed was very comfy and the bathroom modern. Our only issue was the cleanliness. Overall it was good but there was a large amount of hair under the bed that would emerge whenever we got into bed. The other only add on would be the addition of a mini fridge. Completely understand that it's a bonus not a necessity, however the room was very hot and simply drinking water felt like it was straight from the kettle. I would recommend staying here to anyone needing to, its great value for money and served it's purpose great

Great hotel The hotel/pub is on a main road so if your a light sleeper this might not be for you. The staff at the pub were very friendly and helpful. The room was comfy and cosy. Parking was easy. We were working in Lancaster the following day and this hotel was perfect for us, we both slept fine.
