"Stayed at JamboHouse for 3 nights. Was picked up at the airport which made it super easy to catch a boat to Lamu! Greeted by Arnold who told me in detail about the range of tours, restaurants and areas to visit on Lamu which was very useful! The rooms were basic but clean with a safe box and two fans. Very comfortable to stay in and great location if you want to stay in Old town Lamu :) the outdoor seating area was lovely and clean Breakfast was great with juice, fruit, tea, coffee and a variety of eggs and toast. Went on the sunset walk with Zion the guide and it was lovely! Tried some coconut wine at the locals bar in the village on the way to the sand dunes and saw a lovely sunset. Would recommend to friends and family "

"If you travel solo this place is a haven!! Amazing staff, especially the manager. Very quiet, next to the beach. Amazing food (food included in your booking), you can also ask for activities outside the hotel and they can arrange for you. Good warm pool and they make good drinks. Reliable internet should you need to work. Very very comfortable rooms. I have been here every year from 2022 and I love it!"
