阿卡迪亞公園貝斯特韋斯特飯店(Best Western Acadia Park Inn)

We were pleasantly surprised with this property. We had a king suite that had a separate room with a little loveseat, and a chair that made the place feel much more spacious. The bathroom with spacious with a large shower. The grounds were very nicely kept in the staff was pleasant and friendly. The varied the breakfast every day a little bit. We really appreciated having laundry facilities as we were on a car trip and didn’t have to find a separate laundromat. It was far enough away from Bar Harbor that it was not congested and we could barely hear the traffic outside with the doors closed. Check in and out was quick and efficient. I highly recommend this property.

The rooms are NOT sound proof. There is no stated quiet hours . At 9:30 p.m. a delightfully little child squealed and screamed in happiness nonstop for 2 hours. The Parents seemed uncaring to quiet the child both outside the door and inside the room. The next night the same thing happened; apparently a 2-day stay. The parking spot is on a dangerous corner. We almost got clipped. I had to park my car in a tight fit. Handicapped room yes, BUT had to drive around the complex to get breakfast. (Not handy). We had no space to allow my passenger to enter/exit our car - it pinned next to a building wall. Room was clean, but dark colors, dismal appearance. Bathroom was bright and clean. Breakfast was "meh." No coffee 2 days in a row, oatmeal was thick like paste, only fresh fruit was an apple. I have stayed in Bar Harbor for annual visits for nearly a decade. We will be not be using B.Western ever again; will be staying at our usual motel (this trip was an unexpected visit, our usual motel was booked full.) There, breakfast is much better, room is pristine clean and bright. Parking is safer (...less expensive also.)

Pouring rain, electricity outages several times during the night. Motel like situation but no assigned parking so going in and out to bring luggage in made one soaking wet. A/C blows up the curtains instead of into the room resulting in a damp feeling in the room. Unfriendly and unhelpful desk attendant and the cost of $560 for one night makes this stay laughable. Cannot recommend this to anyone.

At check-in we were told we had two king rooms reserved.Expedia made a mistake in our reservation since,obviously, there was only one couple travelling. Please correct the charge to my credit card for the extra reservatiion.

I book the this hotel it was pet friendly and service dog welcome. But when I check in I show the front desk my service dog document and double check there is no fee for my service dog. But I received a dog fee charge on second day when I go ask the front desk manager her tell me yes I charge you two days dog fee. I ask why it will be have a fee on service dog her say I don’t show my doc to front desk and didn’t tell front desk I have a service dog. After this I show the manager my doc litter but the manager said no no no I don’t want see and I want end this conversation and I refunded the dog fee to you.

The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. The breakfast was very good and the place was quiet even though it was on the highway. I had to go ask how to work the tv and she explained it perfectly.- I think a lot of people ask that.

Room 205 Easy access great location. Close to Acadia Park entry. Great quality. Beds comfy and clean. Bathroom well stocked. Typical hotel breakfast.Check in was breeze. Hostess was very warm and welcoming.

The hotel room stunk from an old rug, problem with AC. Two nights of poor sleep because of AC. Hotel advertised in the lobby stafffing issue, yet we paid over $400 a night for a hotel not worth more then. $100/night. Gauged tourists to make up for no revenue except in season. Told front desk about AC first night and nothing changed. I believe I should receive 1/2 of my money back for false advertising it is a superb hotel rating! The door in the bathroom swollen and could not close. I am not sure I should not hold the hotel liable for mold exposure. AC removed no humidity and that combined with rug. Ugh. This is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I travel very frequently.

This is unlike other best western ( such as one near Yosemite). The breakfast was a joke, swimming pool was made of like rubber, rooms tiny and bathroom even tinier. Overall, this is my last stay at best western.
