Wunderschönes hotel Wie haben nicht da geschlafen Jedoch immer da gegessen Hatten unser 10 Jahre Hochzeit essen organisiert die haben es total schön eingerichtet Das Essen war manchmal gut manchmal leider schlecht Die Rechnung war auch nicht immer korrekt da muss man aufpassen Habe Zusätzlich nur ein stk Brot bestellt Kahm 10 min nach meiner gekocht es ei war jedoch nur 1 stk weißes Toast for 70 ,000 Rp Das hat mir total geärgert Wir haben da so viel konsumiert Finde bishen schade das das Hotel so was macht Ansonsten war halt schön da zu chillen und das hotel genießen

Wir waren für 4 Nächte in diesem so persönlichen Haus und der Service ist großartig. Ob nun der Fahrer für den Flughafen pickup oder das gesamte Service Team ist outstaying sehr persönlich. Ausflüge zum Sunset oder ins Village sind top organisiert und bei Bedarf war Reni immer da. Die Ausstattung ist top und die Küche macht einen fantastischen Job . Daniel , der Owner hatte einen lobster gefunden und schon war die Idee zum Abendessen da . Der Pool sehr gut und ein guter Schlafkomfort mit Fenster zum Balkon die Bodentief zu öffnen waren Die Lage ist so , dass man die Aktivitäten zum Sonnenaufgang begleiten kann ( Ebbe )

Staying at Alamayah is a wonderful way to experience Sumba. Dan and Jess have built a fantastic hotel with top quality staff who are so attentive to every detail and who help create a great atmosphere. The curated list of activities is perfectly balanced to expose you to the beauty of the local environment and introduce you to the culture of the local people. Highly recommend their suggestions of village trips, rice field and waterfall tours etc which all avoid tourist hot spots and take you to hidden gems in Sumba. We stayed for a week and had the full experience. Everything was excellent for us, but there are some things visitors might want to know in advance: 1) Alamayah is in the perfect location to experience nature - that means there is lots of nature! There are no mosquitos, but lots of other friendly and less-friendly/ noisy creatures. 2) the style and layout of the hotel allows noise to travel easily and it can be loud in the evening and during the night. Overall would recommend 10/10. Alamayah is the perfect way to explore Sumba and you will be made to feel at home!

The owners are super friendly and helpful Dan. Owner - excellent Sue. Owners mom - excellent Their lapopu waterfall tour / experience was also great. The Toyota Hilux setup with bean bags in the back was perfect. Extremely relaxing. Agus. Driver - excellent

We had an incredibly perfect 6 nights at Alamayah, Sumba. The property is absolutely stunning and our experience was only heightened by the warm and personal service provided by the staff who treated us like family. We were picked up from the airport and driven to the hotel in spotless vehicles and as soon as we arrived given a welcome drink & and explained the property. Our room, Tahik, faced onto the ocean & it was beautiful watching the sunrise from our balcony everyday. The rooms are immaculately clean & every detail has been considered, from complimentary mini bar to toothpaste, sunscreen & bug spray. Housekeeping staff do a lovely job & we always looked forward to their turndown service in the evening which made bedtime so inviting. Every dish we ordered from the restaurant was delicious, and the menu has an excellent variety of Indonesian & Western dishes. The chefs obviously take a lot of pride in their cooking & the dishes looked and tasted amazing. Also not to be missed is the fantastic bar, the bartenders are expert cocktail makers and we indulged in a variety of different drinks during our stay. My husband who loves to surf was taken care of by the Surf Guide, which put my mind at ease knowing someone local to the area & familiar with the conditions would be out with him in the water. We had a wonderful 90 minute massage & did the Village Tour which we absolutely recommend every guest does. We are so thankful for every staff member who made our stay so memorable. We can’t wait to come & stay with you again. X

Wow .. wow .. wow … this place is amazing. ASA Solo traveler I felt like home immediately. It’s like walking to a beautiful home . Big and beautiful decorated room . Comfortable, amazing views and great staff . I went with Novri in the bike to explore the beaches around and he stayed with me all day . The Alamaya is a family house . The food is home cooking and excellent. The architecture and design is amazing . And the Ocean view … Mesmerizing. Only 7 rooms so very private and I like it . Felt amazing and safe . Really recommend the experience . It’s unique .
