"This remains one of the best budget motels in Kansas. The outside is nothing to look at, but the rooms are quite good for the price. They smell and feel clean. The climate control is easy to understand and use and produces exactly the temperature you ask for. The rooms are roomy. The room I was in seemed like it was fairly recently refurbished. Everything worked and the bed was comfortable. If you are a budget traveler you will not get more for less anywhere else."

"The staff, location, and really the entire town was very welcoming and hospitable. We loved every minute of our stay and some of our friends are talking about returning one day! The country cafe had great eats alone with the bison burgers at the pub, and the donuts open at 4 am and the homemade breakfast burritos with truckers lined up at 7 am. There is a great walking path behind the motel. There was a nice continental buffet free every morning with : burritos, Jimmy dean sausage and egg muffins, yogurt, fruit, cereals, and hot waffles. And always a hot cup of coffee, tea or cider."
