布登伍德灣 RV 度假村(Buttonwood Bay RV Resort)

For a place that I referred to many other they wouldnt accept me due to my age. Even though the others i referred to were well under the 55 mark. They pick and choose who is allowed to stay. Never will refer them to anyone else

Clean, well-maintained property with permanent residences, park models and RV sites. Many amenities including laundry facilities, comfort stations, recreation hall, community center, exercise equipment, heated pools, library, pickle ball courts, pool hall, shuffleboard, fishing, etc. Property is on Lake Josephine-pretty sunsets! Everyone is friendly and welcoming. Within a few miles drive to Sebring and Lake Placid FL for your shopping convenience. About 1 1/2 hour drive to either coast. We stayed here three months in Winter in our 31’ motor home with full hookups.

Four years ago we sold our home In Montana and headed south to warmer weather for the winter and stumbled into this amazing RV park! We had never heard of BUTTONWOOD BAY but thought we would give it a try, and we are still down here four years later. The management and maintenance are top notch and it’s like we’ve found a new family away from home. After one year in our fifth wheel we bought a modular home along with some of our friends. Once you get settled here you’ll never want to leave! So many amenities, and a canal and docks right in the park so all we have to do is jump in our golf cart to get to our boat. LOVE, LOVE LOVE TJIS PLACE AND WOULD RECOMMEND TO EVERYONE.

The lure of fishing on Lake Josephine brought us here. Enjoy keeping our boat on our private dock on the canal along the nature trail surrounding the park. Found a mix of 55+ people - snowbirds, those new to retirement, and others who’ve made their home here. Many nice amenities!

I have nothing but great things to say about Buttonwood Bay. I was in the park for 6 months. There are so many activities, amenities and wonderful people there. The park is kept extremely clean and well maintained. The management is friendly, professional and very helpful. It is a wonderful little community to live in short or long term. I would highly recommend!!!

This Resort has very friendly staff and super nice people everywhere! Pools are clean and beautiful, Lake Josephine provides beautiful sunsets, shuffleboard, horseshoes, get togethers, dances, and more.

We needed a short term rental waiting on our house to be ready and Buttonwood Bay exceeded our expectations! Their rental cottages had everything imaginable for our stay! Call Jonathan -he is awesome!

Stayed for 3 weeks from the middle of December 2021 to January. The assistant manager Johnathan Simons was excellent. He was very helpful with any questions we had and always had a smile on his face. When we arrived the second time the office was closed. Johnathan just happened to drive by and noticed we were outside the office with our travel trailer. He stopped in and helped us get a spot for the night. Doing something like that on his day off was really appreciated by us. The rv park is very clean and the facilities are in excellent shape. The people there are very friendly. It is an over 55 park and is very quiet and night. We would go back to this park again.

this review is long overdue. you will have a great stay here as long as you don’t expect a warm pool. the RV sites are great, no pull-throughs but still pretty easy even for the largest. Lots of amenities and activities to keep you busy. sadly though, as an effort to save a couple of pennies, management has seen fit to turn the heat down in the pools to the point where I can no longer use them. disappointing. If I can’t swim I won’t enjoy my stay and I won’t return. if this is a corporate decision, then they need to give their head a shake. if this is a local decision, then upper management needs to recify it before business suffers.
