Rustic rooms with a modern touch. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The location of the mansion is perfectly located so that everything downtown is walkable

Cheers to our Mixologist Rafael! He designed a cocktail specifically for me after asking a few questions about my tastes. Always a pleasure when he’s behind the bar. Friendly, knowledgeable and talented, Rafael is a great reason to visit the Apothecary.

We decided to visit Lake Geneva for a quick babymoon. From the Chicago area. Found the Maxwell Mansion via Instagram and couldn’t wait to book a room. It was a perfect place for my husband and I. We enjoyed our stay in the main mansion in the Jane Austen room. All of the staff was so friendly and welcoming. Jenne, the manager, was ever present and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Ralph, one of the bartenders at the Apothecary Bar was so knowledgeable and accommodating. Lived all his Non Alcoholic creations! If you are looking for a unique stay that is off the beaten path but still close enough to all the action that Lake Geneva has to offer, this is the place! It was so quiet and cozy and felt like we stepped back in time with all the vintage decor. Truly a gem in the heart of Lake Geneva.

I took my wonderful lady for a nice relaxing getaway and to start the new year on the right track. I found this place through instagram and definitely worth every penny. The apothecary is amazing along with the speakeasy that’s located downstairs in the cellar. Great location easy and close to all the local businesses and restaurants. I only wish this place offered more of a food menu and indoor seating.

We really enjoyed our stay. I’m not sure it’s worth the price, but it was unique and fun! The close walk to downtown was the best part. Great location. If you like karaoke, check out Foleys! That was the highlight of our trip. I wouldn’t recommend the bubbles package - it’s unfortunately not worth the cost. the speak easy was cool, and we enjoyed the history of the mansion too! We probably won’t be back, but it was a cool one time experience.

We love The Maxwell Mansion. Beautiful property. The Mansion rooms are our favorite. Everything is onsite. Great friendly, helpful staff. Love the comfy robes in the rooms. Nice bonus.

I would have given a 5 star but there were issues with our whirlpool. They offered a new room which was nicer but we had to move at 10 pm. to the other room. However, they gave us a bottle of wine for our troubles.
