Maxwell Mansion is close to downtown Lake Geneva and has a lovely historic feel. The steam showers in the stables block are absolutely heavenly. The service and attentiveness are first-rate and both bars are well-appointed and staffed with knowledgeable, kind, helpful people. We had a power outage and the staff worked hard to make sure we felt taken care of.

The Maxwell Mansion and property are beautiful! So much history and class. Service was excellent! My favorite part was there are so many places to relax and enjoy on the property!

We stayed in the mansion in the Charlotte Brontë room and it was very loud at night. We had a vent exhaust that was outside our window and the music from the speak easy until at least 10pm each night. The room was clean but small..chose a stable rm

Enjoyed amazing cocktails (best Old Fashions) in the mansion and Speakeasy. Our room was beautiful, comfy bed and whirlpool tub. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be back!!

This was a quick weekend getaway for my wife and I. Our room was amazing and clean and the property in general was great. We liked having both bars on the complex because it allowed us to have a couple of drinks and not have to drive anywhere.

The room was very nice, very clean, and I love the way it’s decorated. Love the whirlpool in the room, and the drinks at the apothecary are out of this world

What an interesting place to stay in the Lake Geneva WI area. The buildings are historic and the furnishings are awesome. We stayed in a Queen Whirlpool room in the Carriage House. The whirlpool fit two and just to sit in there and watch the big TV was great, great, great. The Speakeasy with the different old timey drinks was our favorite.
