旺德里希宮殿

Wir hatten ein sehr schönes Apartment. Gross, ruhig und haben sehr gut geschlafen. Wir konnten das Auto in der Tiefgarage parkieren. Das Zentrum ist nur ein paar Gehminuten zu Fuss entfernt.

Sehr toll renovierte Wohnungen und überaus nette Gastgeber! Wir verbrachten einige Tage über Weihnachten im Palais und unsere Gruppe belegte bis zu vier Wohnungen. Alle waren vom Haus begeistert. Für einen Abend buchten wir den kleinen Gewölbekeller. Praktisch ist der offene Kühlschrank, aus dem man sich Tag und Nacht Getränkenachschub holen kann. Der lokale Wein ist ausgezeichnet! Die Tiefgarage ist mit einem Autolift erschlossen. Man muss bei der Ein- und Ausfahrt einfach etwas zielen. (Ein anderer Gast parkierte seinen 5.4m-VW Amarok auch dort...) In der Wohnung 13 benötigten wir im Wohnzimmer den Schwedenofen, für den Holz bereit gelegt ist. Das Stadtzentrum und ein grosser EDEKA sind zu Fuss in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Neben dem Trampolin im Garten hat es diverse Spielplätze in der Umgebung. Besonders zu empfehlen ist der Spielplatz mit Verkehrsgarten beim Sportplatz (20min zu Fuss) oder das Labyrinth im Stadtpark. Wir kommen bestimmt auch einmal im Sommer, um den Innenhof und den Garten geniessen.

Wow! What a delightful surprise to find ourselves in a perfectly located, central but quiet location in this hidden gem! Exceptional care has gone into the restoration of the enchanting manor house, preserving the beauty of the historical architecture while artistically enhancing comfort with modern amenities. Every detail has been cleverly and lovingly thought out, with each room having individually styled decor. A central courtyard creates a special atmosphere with ambiance, plus there is an interesting extensive garden. The rooms have their own fully appointed kitchens, and there is also a common room with kitchen, perfect for groups. The parking garage with car elevator is cleverly done and easy to use. Breakfasts were fresh, organic, with quality ingredients, and delicious! The owners are kind, caring, and simply fantastic! We loved the fresh flower arrangements, the just-right lighting, lovely scents, clean simple elegance, and understated luxury. This oasis is a destination in itself!

Very nice stay! We stayed 3 nights from Tursday evening to Sunday morning. Very quiet and well thougt through accommodation! Clean and very organised, with everything you need. Usually i’m allergic to hotelrooms but no sign of any allergic reaction at this place! The owners used a lot of natural elements and materials, which really makes the diffrence. Very friendly and helpful host and is open to any questions and suggestions. If you come by car, its the perfect place to stay if you plan on going to Europa Park. We will definitely book again!

This is a hidden gem and needs to be made known to all who may visit the city of Lahr Germany. We arrived early afternoon of 19 June 2023 and were checked in by the friendly Eba who gave us a tour of the grounds, showed us to our unit and arranged parking in the underground lift garage - that was a first for us, an elevator for our car. Our one bedroom unit was well appointed with everything we needed for our stay, comfortable furnishings, plenty of clothing storage, a safe, comfortable bed, bath towels, hair dryer, etc. The kitchen had all we needed to prep a simple seat down meal and enjoy morning coffee with a French press. The fridge is a half size style appliance but adequate for our food purchases for our stay - no freezer however but frozen goods can be stored in the freezer in the “garden/party” room adjacent to the outdoor terrace area. There is an induction range with oven and plenty of cutlery, utensils and dinner ware - all you need really. Everything was very clean on our arrival, no complaints whatsoever and the property looked just as advertised - any surprises were pleasant ones. The grounds are fantastic, a large walled in grass area with sun and shade for relaxing, lots of loungers and chairs, fruit trees and lovely flowers and a child’s play area with trampoline and sandbox. It is private altho a little noisy during some times in the day as there is a primary school adjacent - the sounds of children playing. The family keep pet rabbits so we enjoyed a daily routine of feeding them carrots, they are tame and friendly. The stone terrace is another area for seating next to a trellis of grape vines and handy to the well stocked drinks room where you can help yourself to wine, beer and other beverages on a pay as you go system - there is a checklist in your room to record what you consume - a great idea! There is also a cafe/lounge where you can get a freshly brewed espresso and perhaps sample some cake and preserves that are made on site from the fruit trees in the garden. We chose several varieties to take home to Canada. Take note that there is no air conditioning here and we visited when a heat wave was happening so it can get a bit warm in the apartment. Keeping things closed up during the hottest hours worked best and we were able to catch cooler breezes in the evening for sleep with the windows open. Nights are very quiet and there is no sound of other guests as the thick stones walls prevent that. Our host could not have been more friendly and kind, Alexandra checked in with us daily when passing in the courtyard and we were able to sit for visits to learn more about Palais Wunderlich and a bit about one another. Any questions or requests were answered immediately as she lives onsite with her family. All in all, we had a wonderful stay and will be recommending this property to friends who may visit the area as well as our Travel Agent. We have very much enjoyed staying at Palais Wunderlich. De hosts were extremely polite and supportive to us. They have created high quality and luxuary appartments with everything available. Our appartment was very clean and nicely decorated. No noice from outside. A beautifull garden is available with much furniture to sit in a quite spot. And many possibilities to bike, walk, run, eat etc.
